The great toad sage joins the Nendoroid family. This Jiraiya Nendoroid comes with the top part of Gamabunta which can be used as a stand to recreate well-known scenes from the series. Jiraiya has been faithfully recreated with his outfit that consists of a gray yukata top and pants with a red sleeveless haori. On his back, he carries the large summoning scroll for the toads which is slightly covered by his long spiky hair.

About Jiraiya

Jiraiya is one of the Legendary Sannin and was in a team with Tsunade Senju and Orochimaru. He is a shinobi of Konohagakure and is famous for being a pervert.

About Jiraiya: Background

As a genin, Jiraiya is put into the same team as Tsunade and Orochimaru with their teacher being Hiruzen Sarutobi the Third Hokage. Hiruzen gave them the bell test leading to Jiraiya failing many times. Jiraiya has a lot of pride and he doesn’t like asking for help, especially from his teammate Orochimaru who was known to be a prodigy.

One day when Jiraiya was trying to summon the toads without signing the contract he was transported to Mount Myoboku where the toads lived. The toads then trained Jiraiya on how to use senjutsu. While he was training the Great Toad Sage predicted the Child of the Prophecy. The Great Toad Sage said that Jiraiya would travel the world and teach a student who would grow up to bring revolution to the ninja world. Whether the revolution would either save the world or destroy it depends on how Jiraiya taught them.

When Jiraiya becomes a jonin teacher he starts to think his student Minato Namikaze could be the Child of the Prophecy. Minato has natural talent making him be called a genius as he was able to come up with many different and powerful techniques. Jiraiya also teaches three Ame orphans as he thinks one of the orphans could also be the Child of the Prophecy. Nagato holds the rinnegan and it is a very powerful dojutsu that the Sage of the Six Paths once used to save the world.

After the Third Shinobi World War ended Jiraiya traveled the world as a spymaster to gather information for his village. While traveling he started writing books, the first one being called "The Tale of the Utterly Gutsy Shinobi" where the main character was named Naruto.

About Jiraiya: Abilities

Jiraiya is a very exceptional shinobi, during the Second Shinobi World War he and his teammates were named the Legendary Sannin as they were able to fight against and survive Hanzo. He has been offered to become Hokage many times but he always declines.

Jiraiya is very proficient in ninjutsu with large chakra reserves to be able to summon the boss of the toads, Gamabunta. He was also trained by the toads to use senjutsu allowing him to utilize nature chakra. Jiraiya is also shown to be proficient in fuuinjutsu as he was able to inspect Naruto’s seal and understand what was wrong.

Jiraiya is a very important character for the story as he guides the main character towards the path of salvation. The people he thought the Child of the Prophecy could be are also very important to the series.

Naruto Uzumaki

Naruto Uzumaki is the main character of the series and is also the Child of the Prophecy. He holds the nine-tailed beast within him and learns how to harness its power in order to protect his friends. At first, Naruto is a rambunctious child but after training with Jiraiya his skills grow exponentially.

Minato Namikaze

Minato Namikaze is Jiraiya’s student and the first person he thought could be the Child of the Prophecy. He had prodigal skills and dreamed of becoming the Hokage to change the shinobi world for good. Minato became the Fourth Hokage and sacrificed his life in order to save his son, Naruto.
