Minato Namikaze Naruto - Nendoroid

Naruto was written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. The manga was first released on the 21st of September 1999 in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump. After its serialization, it gained major popularity with an anime also being aired. One of the well-known characters from the series is Minato Namikaze, also known as the Fourth Hokage. He is a very popular character and one of the popular products featuring Minato is the "Nendoroid Naruto Shippuden Minato Namikaze".

Nendoroid Minato Namikaze

The Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze joins the Nendoroid family. He wears the standard uniform of a jonin level shinobi. His uniform consists of blue pants and a shirt with wrappings on both his arms and legs. On top of his shirt is the green jacket a shinobi receives after being promoted. He also wears a white cape with a red fire pattern on the bottom with the words 'Fourth Hokage' written horizontally in kanji.

The Minato Nendoroid also comes with three different facial expressions. The first one is a standard smiling face, another is a serious face with his mouth in a straight line. The last expression shows a playful Minato as he smiles widely with one of his eyes winking. There are also various optional parts included such as his three-pronged kunai and his signature attack the rasengan.

About Minato Namikaze

Minato is a very powerful shinobi who became the Fourth Hokage. He is the father of Naruto Uzumaki and married Kushina Uzumaki. Minato is also the teacher of Kakashi Hatake when he was a genin.

About Minato Namikaze: Background

As a young child still in the academy Minato dreamed of becoming the Hokage. While in the academy he also meets his future wife Kushina Uzumaki. While most of the people teased Kushina for having bright red hair, Minato thought it was very beautiful and became attracted to her. Although Kushina herself didn’t think much of Minato and even though he was unreliable.

After graduating Minato joined a team under the guidance of Jiraiya, one of the Legendary Sannin. Jiraiya thought of Minato as a prodigy and took him as his apprentice. Under the training of Jiraiya, Minato grew even stronger, leading Jiraiya to believe Minato could be the Child of the Prophecy. It is a title said by the Great Toad Sage who would bring a revolution to the ninja world and could become a savior.

One day, some of the Kumogakure shinobis kidnapped Kushina as she was part of the Uzumaki clan who are known to be very powerful. Although the Konohagakure shinobis are mobilized to save her, Minato is the only one to notice the red strands of hair she left as a trail. After Minato saves Kushina, he comments on how he always thought her hair was beautiful, making Kushina fall in love. The two become a couple and after a while, they get married.

Before Naruto, Kushina was the jinchuriki and held the nine tails within her. Due to her pregnancy, there was a possibility the seal would become weak and release the beast. During the birth, they are attacked by an unknown person making the seal come undone and releasing the nine tails. Kushina and Minato sacrifice themselves to protect as well as seal the nine-tails into their newly born son, Naruto.

About Minato Namikaze: Abilities

Minato is an extremely powerful ninja who was chosen to become the Fourth Hokage. During the Third Shinobi World War Minato was able to take out a whole army by himself. He was then awarded the name Yellow Flash as well as a flee on sight order by enemy ninjas.

He is very skilled in fuuinjutsu and one of his signature attacks would be the Flying Thunder God technique which is a space-time seal. The seal was written on his three-pronged kunai and allowed him to appear wherever his seal was. His other signature attack is the rasengan which was inspired by seeing a tailed beast ball. He spent three years developing the technique but wasn’t able to add his elemental ability to it, making it an unfinished technique.

Minato is a very revolutionary character in the world of Naruto and would’ve been able to influence the story greatly if not for his early death. As the father of Naruto, he cared greatly for his son and entrusted the nine tails to him, believing he would need the power in the future.

Naruto Uzumaki

Naruto Uzumaki is the main character of the series and the son of Minato. Appearance-wise Naruto takes after his father but his personality is just like Kushina’s. During Naruto’s dark times he meets his mother who talks to him and lets him know he is greatly loved and trusted. This allows him to gather the strength he needs to fight his enemies.

Jiraiya

Jiraiya took notice of Minato’s skills and thought he was someone who could change the world. He taught Minato many of his skills and how to summon the toads. Like Minato, Jiraiya also mentored Naruto and believed that both of them could have been the Child of the Prophecy with the power to change the world.
