Roxas is the Nobody of Sora and is ranked XIII in the Organization. He exists oblivious to Sora's existence for most of his life.

About Roxas: Background

Roxas is the Nobody of Sora and was born when Sora released his heart to restore Kairi's. However, Roxas has lived most of his existence, unaware of Sora's existence.

Unlike many of the Nobodies, Roxas seemingly possesses real emotions. This resulted from Roxas holding onto Ventus's heart when he was being separated from Sora. Due to being counterparts, the two have similar personalities. Funnily, they both had the same reaction when others mistake them for their counterparts.

Contrasting Sora, Roxas is very short-tempered and aggressive. He also becomes confident and arrogant during battles, especially when baiting Riku, telling Riku that he will never be able to be him. When rage takes over him, he cannot think logically and will continue to pursue his opponent or task until his temper has calmed down.

Due to being born without memories, Roxas was initially treated like a newborn infant. However, under Vexen's harsh training program, he quickly learns how the worlds work and is exposed to new skills and ideas, advancing his mind. To the point that he is considered as the more intelligent half. Compared to Sora, he is less likely to be fooled by his enemies unless he is angered.

About Roxas: Abilities

Roxas is Sora's Nobody. This means he has half of Sora's power. Roxas can wield two Keyblades, as Roxas's heart is made of two Keyblade wielder hearts. He has complete command of Oathkeeper and Oblivion and exhibits great potential and talent in yielding them.

Another specialization of Roxas's is light. While his fight style is similar to Sora, as he gains more experience, he becomes more aggressive and plays an offensive role rather than a support role. His immense potential can be seen when he is able to defeat Saix, despite not reaching full power, and manages to win against Xion despite having her enchantments.

One of his special attacks allows him to float in the air and shoot blue spheres of lights at his opponent using the energy gathered in his hands.

Being the Nobody, Roxas has many obstacles that he needs to overcome. In particular, Axel is a close friend of his, which helped him overcome and supported him when he needed it.

Axel

Axel is one of Roxas's closest friends. When Roxas was first created, Axel was in charge of overlooking Roxas. Axel likes Roxas and spends a lot of time talking and chatting with Roxas. In particular, Roxas admires Axel's dark personality and sees him as the most remarkable member of the Organization. Due to being a Nobody, Roxas is born without any memories. Therefore, Axel took on a mentor role and would answer any questions that Roxas had. This was the start of their strong friendship.

Xion

Xion is also a close friend of Roxas. When Xion started wishing Roxas good luck on his missions, he began to like her. He would then start inviting him to the clock tower to talk about their dreams and eat ice cream together. Roxas showed great affection towards Xion and lit up when she was around. These bonding sessions strengthened their relationship, and Roxas became highly protective of Xion. In particular, he protects Xion from Saix.

Sora

Sora is Roxas's original body. While they do not often interact, they hold a strong connection with each other due to being connected. Roxas initially fails to understand his role as Sora's Nobody. Still, he later starts experiencing Sora's memories and dreams and realizes that he was never supposed to exist and was being used. Ultimately Roxas realizes that he was meant to be sealed inside Sora's body and accepts his fate. Sora also overtime acknowledges Roxas as his person and shows the strong connection between the two.
