Jujutsu Kaisen is a majorly popular series that was originally a manga written and illustrated by Gege Akutami. The anime was first released on the 3rd of October 2020 and gained more attraction. It is a fantasy and action-adventure genre with many cool fight scenes to get the fans pumped. Nobara Kugisaki is part of the main cast and is a very popular character. She is a strong and independent girl who isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. Due to her strong personality, she gained popularity and has many merchandise products made in her design. The powerful Jujutsu user, Nobara Kugisaki joins the Nendoroid family in a small cute form. She wears her Jujutsu High School uniform which consists of her gakuran-like top and black skirt that has a few pleats. She wears black stockings to cover her legs with brown school shoes.

The Nobara Nendoroid comes with three different facial expressions. The first one is a normal expression where she stares ahead. The second expression shows Nobara with a closed-eye smile and the last expression shows her with a serious face. Her eyes are focused and her mouth is wide open as though she was shouting. There are also various optional features to faithfully recreate the fans’ favorite scenes. The optional parts are her hammer and nail that she uses to release her attacks. There is also a hand mirror and lipstick showing the girly side of Nobara.

About Nobara Kugisaki

Nobara is one of the main characters who appear in the story and is a first-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High school. She is a grade 3 jujutsu sorcerer and uses a hammer and nail to curse her opponents.

About Nobara Kugisaki: Background

Nobara was born and raised in a very rural area making her dream of going to Tokyo and living in the city. While she was young she admired her neighbor who was an outsider who had moved to her small town. The neighbor was older than her and very pretty and was someone Nobara aspired to be. Her neighbor was later forced to move due to the rest of the villagers. Nobara hated the group mindset her small town had. She wished to escape the town she was born in and experience life in the city.

As a young child, Nobara was always an outspoken child and different from her peers. She wouldn’t allow others to taint her view on life and always stayed true to herself. As a jujutsu sorcerer, she wished to always be a cute girl but also strong. Nobara did not want to give up either the ideal of being a powerful jujutsu sorcerer or being girly. She is confident in her abilities and doesn’t hesitate to inflict pain on herself showing she is quite crazy.

Satoru Gojo, her teacher at Jujutsu High was worried about a young girl from the countryside wanting to become a jujutsu sorcerer. Many of the cursed spirits they have to defeat are very gruesome-looking and put a strain on the sorcerer’s mental state. Most of the jujutsu sorcerers end up quitting since they can’t handle facing the cursed spirits. However, Nobara easily passes Satoru’s test as she fearlessly destroys her enemy.

About Nobara Kugisaki: Abilities

Nobara has been ranked Grade 3 by Jujutsu High. Grade 3 means that she can defeat cursed spirits that can be beaten by a handgun if normal weapons could be used against curses. Despite her low-grade Nobara has been shown to defeat many curses that are higher than her level. She has been ranked lowly due to her inexperience and the fact that she is still a first-year student.

Nobara uses a hammer, nails, and a straw doll to channel her cursed energy through. Her main weapon is her hammer that she has decorated with a heart. She imbues her cursed energy into the hammer that can cause great damage. She is often seen hitting nails with her hammer which is also imbued with her cursed energy that can cause explosions.

Other Important Jujutsu Kaisen Characters

Nobara at first didn’t have a good first impression of her classmates Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro. However, after experiencing life-threatening fights together they bonded and grew to trust each other.

Yuji Itadori

Yuji Itadori is the main character of the series. Nobara and Yuji bond over the fact they were both from rural areas and dreamed of visiting Tokyo. Nobara doesn’t wish to be an easy girl who quickly becomes friends with guys. Despite her thoughts, Nobara and Yuji easily laugh and joke together, becoming quite close. She tries to act cold but she can’t hide her kind heart as she sheds tears over Yuji’s supposed death.

Megumi Fushiguro

Megumi Fushiguro is a major character of the series and is classmates with Yuji and Nobara. At first, they didn’t have the best first impression of each other. After fighting together as classmates they grow to trust and depend on each other. This can be seen when Megumi tries to comfort Nobara after they learn of Yuji’s passing.
