OtapediaThe Legend of Zelda 1 - Nendoroid

The Legend of Zelda is a popular video game franchise created by Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka and developed by Nintendo. The first Legend of Zelda game was released in 1986 for the Nintendo Entertainment System and there are now 19 games across all of Nintendo's major game consoles. The Legend of Zelda also has a number of spin-off games, an animated TV series, and some manga adaptations that were commissioned by Nintendo. Some of the games in the Legend of Zelda series are considered some of the best video games of all time. It certainly is one of Nintendo's most successful franchises.

Many of the Legend of Zelda games are set in an area called Hyrule, which has a similar style and feeling to Europe's Middle Ages. In all of the Legend of Zelda games, with the exception of some of the spin-offs, the player plays as the protagonist, Link. In most of the games, Link must fight his way through enemies, overcome all kinds of puzzle-like obstacles, work his way through dungeons and temples, collect equipment, and strengthen himself so that he can save the princess, Zelda, from the evil Ganon/Ganondorf. In some games, Ganon is a terrible monster. In others, Ganon takes on a humanoid form known as Ganondorf until challenged. The gameplay of The Legend of Zelda is very hack and slash where the player takes up sword and shield (and sometimes boomerangs, bows and arrows, hook shots, slingshots, and more) to fight mobs of monsters in real-time. Many of the games in the franchise also include musical instruments the player can play to affect the world in which they are playing.

History of The Legend of Zelda Nendoroid

The first Legend of Zelda character that Nendoron created in 2014 was the series' protagonist Link. This Nendoroid was modeled after Link from the game titled The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD which was released for the Wii U in 2013. Since then Nendoroid has gone on to create many versions of the franchise's heroes Link and Zelda including versions with what could be their famous horses, Epona and Storm. Nendoron has also released a Guardian figure from the series' most recent title, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

#413 Link: The Wind Waker Ver.

This version of Link is the protagonist of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, known also as the Hero of Winds. He embarks on his heroic journey in order to save his sister, who had been kidnapped. In the Wind Waker Arc, Link lives in a world where there are a group of islands on a vast ocean. The player controls Link who sets sail into the sea and explores the islands. Throughout his journey, Link gains many allies such as a pirate captain and an incarnation of Princess Zelda.

This version of Link wears his usual green ensemble of a light green long sleeved shirt with a dark green tunic on top. His cone shaped hat is also of a similar shade of green. For the Wind Waker game Link is shown to have a more cartoonish style which is perfect for being made into a Nendoroid form.
