Date A Live is a popular anime that was released on the 6th of April, 2013, it was adapted into an anime from a light novel series written by Koushi Tachibana. It is a popular story that has comedy, love, and action all mixed to create a fantastic story. The protagonist can seal the power of spirits if they have enough affection for him and he tries to woo the spirits who take the form of young girls. In the series, Kurumi Tokisaki is the only spirit who takes on an antagonist approach. She is a spirit that fully understands what sort of world she has been brought into and tries to attack the protagonist to steal his powers. Kurumi is a popular character thanks to her alluring design and bewitching personality. Nendoroid Date A Live II Kurumi Tokisaki (Re-run)

The Kurumi Nendoroid shows her in her spirit form wearing her astral dress 'Elohim'. The dress is red and black in a gothic lolita theme. She has a black frilly choker around her neck and a spaghetti strap dress. The dress has many layers, frills, and bows that flare out in an A-line skirt. She has armbands that match her outfit that is red and black with bows on them. She also wears black boots with details that look like laces and bows on them. Her long black hair is tied into two high ponytails that are sculpted to look like they have just been blown by the wind while the rest of her hair frames her face like a fringe. On her head, she wears a headband that has red frills and ribbons while the band is black with red details to match her outfit. Her right eye is red while her left eye is golden with a clock pattern in it faithfully recreating the Kurumi from the series. Kurumi also comes with three different expressions. One is a normal smiling face while she looks slightly to the side. The second one shows her smirking as she seems to belittle others with her expression. The last expression shows Kurumi in her glorious madness. Her mouth is wide open in a smile and her eyes show an instability that speaks of her craziness. There are also extra optional parts which are Zafkiel's musket and pistol which she can hold in her hands to demonstrate the various poses she did when firing the guns she holds. The various parts allow the fans to make the Kurummi Nendoroid pose in all sorts of ways to enjoy their favorite scene.

About Kurumi Tokisaki

Kurumi is a spirit that doesn’t trust humans and is also known as the most dangerous spirit as she has killed many humans by herself and not including the natural disaster of the spacequakes. Although she doesn’t like humans she has a twisted sense of justice and only kills humans who have hurt animals or hurt others. She is good at acting too, despite her mistrust she acts kindly and polite towards Shido Itsuka, the protagonist, but her kind act is only to hide the madness that she holds deep inside of her.

About Kurumi Tokisaki: Background

Kurumi was formerly a human and became a spirit due to the very first spirit. She was then betrayed by the first spirit with whom she had worked together with causing her great mistrust in others. She then began to attack humans to gain more power to go back in time to kill the first spirit. Although she attacks humans she wants to get rid of the first spirit who caused other spirits to appear and cause the deaths of many.

About Kurumi Tokisaki: Abilities

Kurumi has two Sephira Crystals meaning she has the power of two separate angels. She has the power of Zafkiel which can control time as well as Rasial which has the power to search for information. Her main power is time manipulation with her astral dress Elohim, she materializes two guns, a pistol, and a musket, and by shooting the bullets she can manipulate the time of the person she has shot including herself. She can speed herself up and slow down her opponents as well as go into the future and the past. However, her attacks use a bit of her life force every time she uses her special bullets. In order to build back her life force, she attacks humans and takes their life force, and kills them.

Due to Kurumi’s forceful nature, she takes the initiative to interact with others. As she likes to tease and bully others when she sees the naive Yoshino she can’t help but go out and see what she wants. Since she also wants to take all of Shido’s power she acts king and friendly while hiding her maniacal personality.

Yoshino Himekawa

Kurumi spots Yoshino Himekawa when she is out with Shido and decides to tease her. As Kurumi has a bit of a twisted personality she took great joy in causing a big misunderstanding and making Yoshino feel very flustered and slightly afraid as she asserted her dominance in her relationship with Shido.

Shido Itsuka

At first, Kurumi only thought of Shido as a food source. Since she learned that he held a lot of power she wanted to absorb the power he had so she attacked him. Although she tries to think of Shido as her enemy she protects and saves him many times.
