About Lifeline

Lifeline is a character with healing abilities and is a solid character important to help keep the team alive.

About Lifeline: Background

Lifeline’s real name is Ajay Che, and she was born to wealthy war profiteers. She leaves home and decides to dedicate her life to helping others after realizing her family's damage to others. She then decides to join the Apex Games to obtain the winnings and use them to fund the Frontier Corps, an organization that helps those in need. While she strives to make the world a better place, she also accepts that sacrifices must be made. She has no problem engaging in the bloodsport of Apex games and sees that the sacrifices will allow her to help more people.

She goes against the typical stereotype of an empathetic person. However, on the contrary, she is often sarcastic and is not afraid to voice her opinions.

About Lifeline: Abilities

All of Lifeline’s abilities are centered around healing. She is the medic, and her abilities are mainly to help her teammates in the Apex games. Nevertheless, she is an important character to have and can determine whether the team stays alive or not.

Lifeline’s tactical ability is the Drone of Compassion (D.O.C). When activated, this tactical ability will release a drone that will heal players within a 3-meter radius. The drone lasts for 20 seconds and can restore a maximum of 150 health.

Her passive ability is combat revive. This is when the D.O.C is activated to revive teammates. Lifeline can leave the player with the D.O.C, meaning she is free to defend and combat oncoming enemies. She is also able to restore two of her teammates simultaneously.

Lifeline’s ultimate is to call in a Care Package. A package equipped with different kinds of defensive items. All of the items are guaranteed to be upgraded from their current items and allow for herself and her teammates to be equipped with high-level defensive shields and helmets.

Other Important Apex Legends Characters

Apex Legends has many varying characters. Wraith, in particular, while also a fan-favorite, contrasts Lifeline with their ability type, while Gibraltar is similar to Lifeline. Octane also differs from Lifeline but is one of Lifeline’s friends.

Wraith

Compared to Lifeline, Wraith is an offensive character at the forefront of combat and plays an important part when fighting. Her abilities allow her to reposition and flank enemies. Her powers include being able to take cover and transfer while invincible. Her past has shaped her to have a jaded personality compared to Lifeline’s very sarcastic personality. These contrasting personalities are also the reason for the popularity of these two characters.

Octane

Octane is a high-speed offensive character. Lifeline and Octane are noted to be friends, and both are from the Planet Psamathe. He damages his legs after using a grenade to launch himself to set a course record. When not wanting to wait for his legs to heal, he enlists Lifeline’s help to obtain bionic legs. He then decides that the Apex Games is the adrenaline rush he needs and joins the games.

Gibraltar

Gibraltar is a defensive character and is known for his Dome of Protection, creating a temporary dome shield that cannot be fired through. Like Lifeline, he has a strong sense of justice to help those in need. His parents protected him after a deadly mudslide, and ever since, like Lifeline, he has dedicated his life to helping those in need. He joins the games to protect his friends and colleagues who have competed and constantly risks himself to defend his teammates.
