Osamu is quite popular thanks to his intelligence and entertaining character. There is also a special feature to make it look like Osamu is trying to drown himself as usual.

Nendoroid Bungo Stray Dogs Osamu Dazai: Airport Ver.
Enjoy an airport pilot version of Osamu that fans normally wouldn't be able to enjoy from just watching the series. Osamu wears a sleek black jacket and pants with a blue necktie and gold and blue details on his chest and sleeves. He comes with a large pilot hat that is able to be placed on the top of his head as well as a smaller version that he can hold in his hands. He also comes with an extra blue carry-on suitcase to match his outfit. The airport version of Osamu comes with two different expressions. One is his usual smiling and relaxed face while the other expression shows Osamu smiling with his mouth open wide and giving the fans a cheeky wink.

Nendoroid Bungo Stray Dogs Osamu Dazai: Dark Era Ver.
This Osamu Nendoroid shows him during his dark days in the Port Mafia. He wears a sleek black suit with a matching black necktie with a white collared shirt underneath. On his arms are bandaged with another one bandaging his right eye. He wears a black coat on his shoulders that is removable and it has been beautifully sculpted to seem as though a gust of wind is blowing past. He has three different expressions available to enjoy. One of them is a standard face as his mouth is in a straight line and he looks neither happy nor unhappy. Another expression shows him smiling with his mouth shut but curved upwards. The last expression shows a cute excited face as his long visible eye sparkles with his mouth open in an 'O' shape. There are extra optional parts such as a cup of whisky or a gun to enjoy a variety of situations.

About Osamu Dazai
Osamu is a very mysterious character. He can act happy and energetic in almost a comedic way but at other times his views on life, in general, are quite dark. He has experienced both the dark side of being in the Port Mafia as well as the light side of being in the Detective Agency that tries to save as many lives as possible.

Osamu was fascinated with death and committing suicide but stated he wasn’t able to die. He was ruthless in his times in Port Mafia being very merciless and killing and torturing many people.

Osamu’s special ability is called ‘no longer human’ and it is an ability that nullifies any other special ability. When people with special abilities become berserk with just a touch Osamu can revert them back to normal. Osamu was also strong and smart enough to become an executive of the Port Mafia with cunning tactics and the skills to back it up.

Osamu is a very skilled character and is someone who is on the teaching side as he is adept at many things. He first taught Ryunosuke during his days in the Port Mafia but his methods were very brutal yet methodical allowing Ryunosuke to grow into someone powerful and frightening. When Osamu was in the Detective Agency he welcomed Atsushi Nakajima into the group and taught him kindly about the different things in the world. He nurtured Atsushi into someone who would fight for his friends allowing him to grow exponentially.
Atsushi Nakajima
Osamu is the one who trains Atsushi Nakajima when he joins the Detective Agency. As he had changed to the side of someone who would save people his personality became a bit more dramatic and carefree but he properly took care of Atsushi as he struggled to gain confidence in himself due to his trauma from the orphanage.
Ryunosuke Akutagawa
When Osamu was training Ryunosuke Akutagawa during his Port Mafia days he was very harsh on him and treated him roughly. He didn’t acknowledge Ryunosuke’s hard work and continued to push him to his limits but despite the harsh treatment Ryunosuke still treated him as a special person. Since he couldn’t gain the recognition of Osamu, when he learned that Atsushi was treated as special he didn’t want to lose to someone who didn’t have any self-confidence and would fiercely attack him.
