Mikasa Ackerman Attack on Titan - Nendoroid

The heroine from the popular series Attack on Titan would be Mikasa Ackerman. She is a strong character and doesn’t rely on anyone to save her instead, she is the one that saves others with her skills. She gained lots of popularity as she shows that not all heroines were damsels in distress and showed her strong and independent self. The anime Attack on Titan was aired on the 7th April 2013 and many types of merchandise were produced due to the high demand. One of the popular products released are figurines, especially the Mikasa Nendoroid such as the “Nendoroid Attack on Titan Mikasa Ackerman (Re-run)”. Enjoy Mikasa with her short black hair wearing her cadet uniform. She wears a brown jacket that shows the cadet logo of two swords on her shoulders and chest. She also wears her signature red scarf that she was given by Eren Yeager around her neck. Like all the other cadets she wears gray pants and boots with harnesses to allow her to use the 3D maneuvering gear. The Mikasa figure comes with three different facial expressions to enjoy. One is her usual expressionless face with her eyes staring forward and her mouth in a straight line. Another expression is a shocked face where she has her mouth slightly open and her eyes were painted wide and filled with the expression of disbelief. The last expression shows Mikasa looking angry and fierce as though she were striking down a titan. Her eyebrows are furrowed and her mouth is open as though she were shouting. The Nendoroid also comes with various extra features. One of the features is her detachable dual blade and 3D maneuvering gear. You can make her pose by using the stand included making it seem as though she was flying through the air and ready to cut the neck of a titan. To make the pose more realistic by adding the blood effect which can be attached to her blades to make it seem as though she already cut down her enemy.

About Mikasa Ackerman

Mikasa is the main heroine and is always sticking close to Eren. She is a very stoic girl who is bad at communicating but makes up for it with her strength and skills making her a valuable member. Even though at times she may seem uncaring she tries her best to protect those within her reach.

About Mikasa Ackerman: Background

When Mikasa was young her parents were both killed and she was saved by the young Eren who gave her the red scarf. Due to the life or death situation, she was able to awaken her hidden powers and show unbelievable feats of strength as she took down an adult twice her size. She was deeply scarred by this event but also thought of it as a great memory as it was her first meeting with Eren. Mikasa finds it difficult to convey her feelings making her seem emotionless at times but she cares deeply about the people who are important to her.

Mikasa is part of the Ackerman family who is said to have a hidden strength. If they are able to unlock this power then they are able to show immeasurable amounts of strength and power. Due to her powerful bloodline, she was able to graduate the cadet training at the top of her class showing that she was the most powerful and skilled in their generation.

Mikasa grew up in the Shiganshina district with Eren Yeager and Armin Arlert who are her childhood friends. These three characters grew up and suffered together at a young age due to their parents/guardians dying while they were young. As the three grew up together they may fight a lot but understand each other the best. The three are willing to do many questionable actions for each other as that is how much they care for each other.

Eren Yeager

Eren Yeager is the main character in the series and is quite an emotional character. Seeing the death of his mother caused him to harbor intense hate towards the titans who killed her, giving him the drive to work hard and train. He is close with Mikasa but sometimes treats her rudely due to his inferiority complex as Mikasa is very powerful and stronger than him. Although he acts mean in his heart he cares greatly for all his friends.

Armin Arlert

Mikasa does act as though Eren is the most important person in her life and can only see him she and Armin Arlert do share a close bond. As a child, Armin was always bullied and ended up being saved by Mikasa since Eren wasn’t strong enough. There are many scenes where Eren and Mikasa trust Armin to build plans and choose their next course of action and although Armin may not believe himself, he trusts in Eren and Mikasa’s abilities.
