Itaru Chigasaki from A3! Joins the Nendoroid, painted with his iconic dark blonde hair and vivid pink eyes. The dark blonde hair fades to a yellow blonde at the tips helping to contrast his vivid pink eyes. He wears professional attire, wearing a navy blue jacket with dark green pants and black shoes. We also see a peek of his light blue and white vest. Itaru comes with three faceplates, including his gentle smile, playful wink, and the smirk is seen when he plays his games. He also comes with other accessories including his smartphone, game controller. There are also alternate fringe hair parts so that his hair can be put up. About Itaru Chigasaki: Background
Itaru is portrayed as a well-mannered person and compared to the cheerful natures of others, he is a calm adult. He was relied upon at work and has a somewhat prince-like status within the company at this day job. Overall he is depicted to be very calm and the only time this is broken is when he is gaming. However, this calm outside is only on the outside and has many bad habits which can rub many the wrong way.
While Itaru may seem like a prince, he has never been an athletic person, leading to him secluding in his room and gaming. He adored the character, Lancelot, from the Knights of Round series. He later changes her “character” in high school which gains him huge popularity.
Later in high school, he is betrayed by a close friend and returns to gaming and streaming his games. When he was working at a prestigious company, his motivation to keep working was purely to support his gaming activities. He is later recruited by Izumi when he is looking for a cheaper room so he can save more money for gaming.
About Itaru Chigasaki: Abilities
Itaru notably is a very hardcore gamer and is very famous among the Knights of the Round fanbase. While a student, he even defeats an RPG dungeon which was thought to be impossible.
Within the game his highest link skill for comedy plays comes with the “Tomorrow for Sure, I’ll Be Reborn in Another World” unit, including Kumon Hydo and Taichi Nanao, with a 24% bonus. For action plays a 27% bonus can be received with the unit “Karate Spirits”, including Kumon Hyodo and Guy. For serious plays, as a part of the Spring Troupe, a 60% bonus can be obtained.
Other Important A3! Characters
We see that Itaru holds very good relations with others. In particular, he is seen often with Banri Settsu, Sakuya Sakuma, Masumi Usui, and Tonooka.
Banri Settsu
Banri Settsu is a member of the Autumn Troupe and is a good friend of Itaru. The two of them are gamers and often play together or versus each other. In regards to gaming, the two see each other as rivals and are often seen battling with in-game rankings. Itaru sees Banri as the only one who can pose a challenge to him with gaming. Itaru plays under the name “Taruchi” while Banri plays under the name “NEO”. Outside of the Spring Troupe members, Itaru is seen to be closest to Banri.
Sakuya Sakuma
Sakuya Sakuma is also a part of the Spring Troupe and is a good friend of Itaru. Sakuya is also the only one who does not notice Itaru’s bad habits and admires him for his strong gaming skills. He sees Itaru as a cool prince. Itaru admires Sakuya for his immense good luck and is seen relying on Sakuya to do his gacha, as due to his really good luck often pulls the rare characters and items.
Masumi Usui
Masumi Usui is also a member of the Spring Troupe. He is able to see through Itaru’s charming exterior and on numerous occasions calls him out for his bad habits and obsession with gaming. He however does say Itaru is handsome but he would never want to be an adult like Itaru. Itaru admires Masumi for him honestly and while Masumi constantly bickers at him, he does not put up much of a fight. He does not dislike Masumi and respects his ability to tell the truth to his face.
Tonooka
Tonooka is a friend of Itaru from high school. The two loved hanging out for their mutual love for Knights of the Round and due to similarities in their personality. The two would often play games together after school. Itaru enjoyed school for the first time because of Tonooka. However, Tonooka betrays Itaru and reveals to everyone his secrets and because of this Itaru reverts to gaming alone and avoiding Tonooka.
