Ryunosuke Akutagawa Bungo Stray Dogs - Nendoroid
One of the popular characters from Bungo Stray Dogs is Ryunosuke Akutagawa. Ryunosuke was named after the famous writer Ryunosuke Akutagawa who had an award named after him. He is someone who stands on the dark side and is a part of the Port Mafia. His typical villain aesthetic captured the hearts of many fans who like the bad boy look and added together with his icy personality quickly made him a popular character. Nendoroid Bungo Stray Dogs Ryunosuke Akutagawa
This Nendoroid shows Ryunosuke in his usual outfit of a long black coat with a white cravat showing. His hair has been painted just like the anime with the top being dark with the front tips of his hair fading to white. There are also extra optional parts that show off his special ability Rashomon, there are two different special effects features to make it seem like he is attacking. The Nendoroid also comes with three different facial expressions. The first one shows him smiling with a cold stare looking off to the side. The second one shows him with an emotionless and serious face with his eyes staring straight and his mouth in a straight thin line. The last expression shows Ryunosuke with a livid expression. One eye is wide open while the other is slightly slanted and his mouth is open with his teeth showing as though he were shouting.

Nendoroid Bungo Stray Dogs Ryunosuke Akutagawa: Airport Ver.
The special airport version of Ryunosuke allows fans to enjoy a very different version of their favorite character. He is not covered from the neck to the bottom with his large black jacket but instead, he wears a white shirt and black pants. On his grey and black necktie are gold accents to match with the gold details on his chest. He comes with a detachable large pilot cap with gold details on it as well as a smaller version for him to hold in his hand. There are also extra features such as a small black carry-on suitcase as well as a newspaper to hold in his hand. There are two different expressions to enjoy. One shows his standard emotionless face and the other one shows him with a slightly relaxed expression as he seems to be thinking about something. The fans can enjoy a relaxed and slightly different version of Ryunosuke as he always acts angry and bloodthirsty in the series.

Ryunosuke grew up in the slums and when he was brought into the Port Mafia he was trained by Osamu Dazai who was an accomplished member of the Port Mafia at the time. He grew to respect Osamu greatly as he was ruthless and strong and showed Ryunosuke what it was to live like a successful human.
About Ryunosuke Akutagawa: Abilities
Ryunouske’s special ability is called Rashomon, it transforms his coat into a monster with an intangible form that is able to cut through anything including space itself. He is a strong member of the Port Mafia and is often sent out on difficult missions.
Other Important Bungo Stray Dogs Characters
Ryunosuke appears whenever the Detective Agency and the Port Mafia fight. He is slightly obsessed over Osamu Dazai and even when they are enemies he wishes to gain his recognition. Since he learned that Atsushi Nakahara is his new student his hatred is pointed towards Atsushi as he has all the attention of the one he respects.
Osamu Dazai
When Ryunosuke was still a young child living in the slums his friends living in the slums together was killed by members of the Port Mafia and to take revenge he went to the place he knew they were going to be only to find Osamu Dazai had already killed them as a gift for Ryunosuke. Osamu gained respect for the man and joined the Port Mafia under Osamu and was trained by him. Even when Osamu betrayed the Port Mafia Ryunosuke still held respect for him although it was tainted by feelings of loss as he was left behind.
Atsushi Nakajima
Ryunosuke is greatly jealous of Atsushi Nakajima. He has a strong ability but doesn’t know how to control it properly and is always helped by his friends. He easily gained the approval from the man he respected a lot causing him to hate the fact that Atsushi was so negative when he already had many things he couldn’t get.
