Touken Ranbu Online is a free-to-play video game produced by Nitroplus and DMM Games. The game was first launched in Japan in January 2015 and gained massive popularity. There were anime adaptations and live-action musicals produced in Japan in various locations. It was a very successful production and the franchise grew very large. The setting for the game is where the player travels to the past to defeat evil forces who are trying to change history for the bad. About Kashuu Kiyomitsu
Kiyomitsu is the personification of an uchigatana. It is a type of long katana that is used by samurai and needs strength and dexterity to be used. In both the game and anime he is voiced by Masuda Toshiki.
About Kashuu Kiyomitsu: Background
Kiyomitsu is said to be an uchigatana used by Okita Souji from the Shinsengumi. He was forged in 1684 by a swordsmith with the same name. The real sword was supposed to have been thrown out into the sea and those feelings have been brought to life. The character wants to be loved by his owner, one of the actions he takes to be loved is to always keep himself clean.
In the anime, he is the first sword to be at the Saniwa's citadel. This is because, in the game, he is one of the first swords that can be chosen. Kiyomitsu knows much about the citadel and helps the other swords to become accustomed to their new home. He is often seen cleaning around the house or grooming himself.

While at his basic level his impact is 34, when upgraded to the kiwame level his impact can range from 55 and the max power is 102.
