The Helpful Fox Senko-san is a comedy manga series that was first written by Rimukoro and published by Kadokawa Shoten in 2017. Two years later, the animation studio Doga Kobo would create an anime adaptation of the original manga. Many viewers and readers of the series enjoy it for its calming and heartwarming atmosphere, slice-of-life antics, and its titular character, Senko. While the series may not be as popular as more mainstream franchises, fans of The Helpful Fox Senko-san have certainly voiced their desire for merchandise based on its characters. Nendoroid The Helpful Fox Senko-san Senko
This figure of Senko has the titular character wearing her classic shrine maiden outfit. This garb consists of a white kimono with red stitching along the ends of the dress, a red skirt, and an apron that is tucked under a red bow that is tied around her waist. Senko's other trademark features are also perfectly recreated as well, like her golden eyes, orange hair, and a fluffy fox tail. Furthermore, this figure also comes with a variety of extra parts to allow its owner to pose Senko in a variety of different poses. Such parts include several pairs of arms, a part that lets Senko sit down on her knees, a rice cooker, a rice paddle, and a rice bowl with an extra-large serving of rice. The added face plates also let one change her expression from smiling to flustered.

About Senko
Senko is a fox spirit who is sent to Earth to ease the burdens of the protagonist, Kuroto Nakano.
About Senko: Background
Although she appears to be a rather young woman, she is a fox demigod who has been around for many centuries. Her age is also further implied by her speaking with older mannerisms, her fear of technology, and so on. As a demigod fox spirit, one of her responsibilities is ridding the world of "darkness" to prevent it from growing into a larger problem in the future. This leads her to find the protagonist of the series, Kuroto Nakano, an overworked businessman with an especially strong aura of darkness.
Senko happily pampers Kuroto by cooking, cleaning, and caring for him, resulting in this aura slowly dissipating with time. In the past, Senko was once friends with a man that looked much like Kuroto, though it is not explicitly explained who this man was. Some believe that it may have either been one of Kuroto's ancestors or one of his past lives, which could explain why Senko was so willing to help Kuroto.
About Senko: Abilities
As a fox spirit, Senko has several different abilities that no human can use. One of her most basic abilities is the fox spirits' ability to conjure fox-fire. This fire is usually blue in color and can be controlled at will. While this fire can produce heat, it strangely cannot melt ice. Senko also has the ability to use telekinesis and levitate herself whenever she desires to. In addition, Senko can also create portals that she and others can use to teleport from one place to another.
Other Important The Helpful Fox Senko-san Characters
Throughout the series, the audience is introduced to a rather small cast of recurring characters, ranging from other fox spirits to friends and neighbors. These characters include Kuroto Nakano, Shiro, Yozora, and Yasuko Koenji.
Kuroto Nakano
Kuroto Nakano is the protagonist of The Helpful Fox Senko-san and is often described as an average businessman in his thirties who works a stressful job with a company that does not hesitate to take advantage of his inability to say no. After being put under extreme pressure and exhaustion, the negativity he had built up grew into an aura of "darkness", which led to Senko finding him and trying to ease his burdens.
Shiro
Shiro is another fox spirit who is an acquaintance of Senko's with white hair and red eyes. Although she is younger than Senko, Shiro holds around the same amount of rank as Senko. That said, Shiro is much more outgoing, energetic, and proud than Senko. In addition, Shiro seems to have the ability to read one's thoughts and manipulate them to some degree. After Senko struggles to rid Kuroto of his darkness, Shiro is sent along with her in an attempt to resolve the issue.
Yozora
Yozora is a fox spirit that oversees both Senko and Shiro. Her power as a fox spirit is expressed in the four plum-colored fox tails she has, as a fox spirit's power can be measured by the number of tails they have. In terms of appearance, Yozora has a significantly more mature figure when compared to Senko or Shiro, hinting that she is much older than the other two as well. Although she generally keeps herself hidden from other humans, Yozora seems to enjoy being around Kuroto and often offers him advice in a rather flirtatious manner.
Yasuko Koenji
Yasuko Koenji is a young woman and one of Kuroto's neighbors. Yasuko is rarely seen outside of her home, as she often stays up late into the night drawing manga. Prior to meeting Senko, Kuroto, and Shiro, her lifestyle was also quite poor, as she relied on takeout and neglected household chores like cleaning. Although Yasuko originally disliked Kuroto and Senko for being loud, she quickly befriended them after Senko offered her a home-cooked meal. Shortly after, Shiro and Yasuko became roommates.
