The Nendoroid comes with three different face plates. One is her standard expression where she looks very serious. The second expression was her sneering expression with one eye wide and the other narrow. Tanya von Degurechaff is the main character of the series and was originally a salaryman in the modern world. She was then reborn into an alternate world as an orphaned girl in the early era of World War One.

About Tanya Degurechaff: Background

When Tanya was a salaryman in the modern world she was very calculative and intelligent. She was working in the human resource department and could efficiently and coldly fire people on behalf of the company. She was then pushed onto the tracks and killed by a former worker she had just laid off. In the few seconds before she dies a being calling itself God calls out to her.

Tanya criticizes God and refuses to believe in the existence of entities such as God and the Devil and names him Being X. She is very atheist and doesn’t agree with the thought of otherworldly beings. Even though the being was an almighty God, Tanya instead denounced the being about the workings of the world and pointed out many flaws in the way they ran the world.

Due to Tanya’s disbelief in God, the being instead thought of a way to get Tanya to become pious. God reincarnated Tanya into an alternate universe during the early stages of World War One. Her gender was changed from a man to a female and she became a young orphan. The alternate world had one significant difference which was the ability to use magic.

Despite the poverty-filled environment that Tanya was brought up in, she still refuses to pray to God. She instead decides to enlist in the army herself due to her high-level magic affinity. By joining the army she thinks that she can be promoted to jobs in the rear where it is safe.

This allows her to have superior fighting skills and battle plans that allow her to win fights. Tanya has a high level of magic aptitude allowing her to become an ace of aces. Her magic ability added to her fighting ability makes her a very powerful character. Thanks to a miracle blessing by God only Tanya can use the Elenium Type 95, which allows her to use powerful attacks capable of causing mass destruction.

Viktoriya is a mage who fights together with Tanya. At first, she is a naive young girl but through fighting all sorts of battles she becomes a very responsible soldier. She is Tanya’s adjutant and is someone Tanya relies on heavily.
