Jibril No Game No Life - Nendoroid

No Game No Life is a series that was first released on the 25th of April 2012 as a light novel. The series was written by Yuu Kamiya and was quite popular and gained more attention after having an anime released. The No Game No Life franchise grew with many products being released such as figures and Nendoroids. Although the series is a widely used ‘otherworld’ genre the unique plotline was very intriguing. The main characters of the series are an unbeatable team when it comes to games. Instead of fighting their opponents and having to risk their lives, they battle differently as the other world has forbidden acts of violence. The rule of no violence allows the main characters to use calculations, tricks, and skills to beat their opponents in different games. It is a very entertaining series with all sorts of products being released. One popular product is the Nendoroid figure which is called “Nendoroid No Game No Life Jibril”.

Nendoroid No Game No Life Jibril

Joining the Nendoroid family is Jibril from the Flugel race. Her figure has been beautifully sculpted and painted to faithfully recreate the vibrant colors from the series. Jibril is wearing her outfit from the series which consists of a crop top and long skirt with slits. Attached to her head is a clear halo and she has large white wings to signify her race.

Jibril also comes with three different face plates. One face shows a standard smiling expression and another face shows a sharp and scornful expression. The last face plate shows Jibril very excited and drooling over the thought of new knowledge. This Nendoroid also comes with various optional features such as a book, a tablet, and alternate arm and leg parts.

About Jibril

Jibril is the youngest as well as the strongest of the Flugel race. She has a vast love for knowledge as well as keeping the heads of her opponents that she fights. Now that she is forbidden from fighting she desires knowledge.

About Jibril: Background

Jibril is the strongest Flugel created by the Old Deus Artosh. Artosh was one of the strongest and known as the God of War before the Ten Covenants. As her creator, master, and father figure loved war, Jibril too loved to fight. She would often test herself against very strong opponents and required the rite of restoration which can take up to 5 years to heal her body.

After the Great War ended and acts of violence were forbidden, Jibril instead craved knowledge. She stole a large number of books and didn’t like the idea of sharing her books and knowledge so she left Avant Heim. After leaving the city where the Flugels lived she went to challenge the Immanity King for the rights to their library and won. Jibril lived in the library until she was then challenged by Sora and Shiro where they played materialization shiritori and lost to the siblings. She then pledged allegiance to them and served them as her new master.

Jibril is a very prideful character due to her race being very powerful. Although she can act polite and knows how to speak properly she often looks down on others and insults them. As her race of a Flugel is ranked 6th in the Ixseed rankings she thinks lowly of other races such as the Immanity and Elves. She calls them mere humans and that they cannot be anything other than weaklings.

It is due to her arrogance that she loses to others. Although she has the ability, strength, and intelligence to win against the other races, her arrogance leads to her losses. She is overly curious and Sora has stated that it was due to her curious nature and arrogance that led to her loss to the siblings.

About Jibril: Abilities

As a member of the Flugel race, Jibril possesses many abilities. The Flugels are ranked 6th out of the 16 races meaning they have a high affinity with magic. They can produce very powerful attacks that are capable of destroying large cities. Since Jibril is a Flugel it means she is immortal with an infinite life span. She is also immune to diseases and illnesses, allowing her to stay at her mental prime and physical peak at all times. Unless she releases an attack that uses most of her powers where she would revert to the size of a 5-year-old, Jibril will never age.

Other Important No Game No Life Characters

Many important characters in the series form an alliance to challenge the One True God. While there are still many grudges from the Great War the characters from different races work together to defeat Tet.

Sora

Sora is one of the main characters of the series and also the master of Jibril. He is a person with great charisma and high intelligence causing Jibril to be very interested in him. Despite being a human and of the lowest ranking Jibril thinks of him highly and serves him as her master.

Shiro

Shiro is one of the main characters and is the younger sister of Sora. She is a highly intelligent character with the ability to solve calculations in her head within an instant. Her ability allows her to have advantages when challenging people in games.
