This Nendoroid figure of Galo Thymos accurately replicates his iconic blue mohawk with blonde streaks. The mohawk has the same spikey and outrageous height as seen in the film! He wears a shirtless Burning Rescue uniform, a white medical compression sleeve on the left, black and yellow gloves, and fiery red pants. Galo Thymos is the main character of Promare. He is the newest recruit of Burning Rescue and has a huge desire to extinguish anything that is wrong.
About Galo Thymos: Background
As a child, Galo’s home was set on fire, and in fear Galo rushed outside. He rushes into Kray Foresight’s arms. Due to this incident, Kray is known as a hero by Galo and is the start of their complicated relationship. Before he joined the Burning Rescue, Galo was able to pass all of his aptitude tests but was unable to reach the minimum training hours. Luckily, he was able to join the Burning Rescue due to Kray’s intervention.
At first, when Galo joins the Burning Rescue, he is met with unwelcome attention. When the sirens go off, he is almost left behind, however, he manages to convince the others that this could be the experience he needs. While out, they find out that one of the facilities still has a woman trapped inside. Galo goes in to save the girl and manages to come out, saving the girl and himself. Unfortunately, despite saving the girl, she turns into a Burnish and is burned by her. This leads to him learning about the Mad Burnish from Aina and states that he will be the one to burn them out.
About Galo Thymos: Abilities
Galo is known to be rather straight-headed and will often speak what's on his mind. However, he also has a tendency to be impulsive and impatient, which usually comes to haunt him. This often leads to the first impression that he is all brawn and has no brains. However, he is very compassionate and dislikes seeing others hurt, and will go to great lengths to help others. He also has an immense passion for ridding any wrongs in the world. This motivates him to understand the Burnish more and understand what they are really fighting for. So while he may seem like he goes at it, he does think things through and will not attack anyone without a given reason.
His immense motivation and drive to protect others is a great strength and aids him in battle. When he first goes to help the girl when he joins the Burning Rescue, he manages to cover himself in extinguishing gel and his matoi and save her. Even Lucia states that his plan had the highest success rate of both the girl and himself surviving. When he does create a plan, it is often successful and is another great strength of his.

The differing dynamics between the different characters are what make Promare interesting. The dynamic between Galo and Lio is fascinating and is a core part of the story!
Lio Fotia
Lio Fotia and Galo start as rivals/enemies. When Galo first meets Lio, he sees him setting fires in the cities for no apparent reason. Galo realizes he was mistaken and attempts to make up for his mistakes. As the story progresses, the two form a strong bond and heavily trust each other.
Kray
Kray was initially Galo’s hero as he believed that Kray had saved him from the fire set on his house. So when Kray gives him a Burning Rescue badge, he holds onto it with immense confidence and pride. However, this strong bond slowly deteriorates as Galo discovers the truth and the Foresights Foundation's involvement with the Burnish.
Aina
Aina is a member of the Burning Rescue and is Galo’s co-worker. She is one of the few people close to Galo and goes after him to save him on multiple occasions. However, there are also instances where she is very critical of him and even believes he would go after the Freezing Force alone. Despite their differences, they seem to have a friendly relationship, and Aina helps Galo by revealing any information she holds that may aid Galo.
