Sasori Naruto - Nendoroid

The manga Naruto was first released on the 21st of September 1999 in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump. It is a very popular ninja story that was written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. The story is about young shinobi who grow stronger to defeat their enemies with supernatural abilities such as ninjutsu and genjutsu. From the large number of characters that appear, the criminal organization called Akatsuki is very popular. One of the well-known members is Sasori of the Red Sand. Sasori is a very powerful puppet user and is one of the first Akatsuki members to appear. Due to the popularity of Akatsuki, many products have been made in their design. One popular product includes the "Nendoroid Naruto Shippuden Sasori".

Nendoroid Naruto Shippuden Sasori

Enjoy the adorable yet dangerous Nendoroid figure of Sasori. He can be posed while wearing his Akatsuki cloak or without it showing his puppet body. The figure depicts Sasori with his young appearance that doesn’t age. His youthful features have been sculpted beautifully.

The Sasori Nendoroid comes with three different faceplates. One is a standard face where he is smiling ever so slightly. The second expression shows a serious and slightly frowning face. The last expression shows Sasori with his eyes wide and mouth clenched showing his teeth. He looks very serious and almost a little crazy. To be paired with the different faceplates are various optional features. The included features are a clear sheet of his Third Kazekage puppet, back blades, and chakra strings that appear from his fingertips.

About Sasori

Sasori was a very powerful shinobi of Sunagakure but he defected and became a missing-nin. He then joined Akatsuki and was partnered with Orochimaru then Deidara.

About Sasori: Background

As a young child, Sasori's parents were killed by Sakumo Hatake in the war leaving his grandmother to raise him. His grandmother tried to cheer him up by teaching him puppetry. Instead of being amused like a normal child, Sasori learned the art quickly and started to invent more powerful puppets. He then created two puppets in the image of his parents to get rid of the loneliness however, the puppets weren't able to give him the love he wanted. Sasori slowly grew cold and disinterested and got rid of the puppets.

During the Third Shinobi World War, Sasori became known as Sasori of the Red Sand. This was due to his powerful and masterful ability to utilize his puppets to spill the blood of his enemies on the sand. After the death of his only friend, he became very detached from life and instead was interested in art that lasted forever. He made a human puppet of his friend as the beginning of his experiment to become an everlasting existence.

Sasori left Sunagakure and started to convert his body into a puppet body. He wished to show the world that art was an eternity and show it using his own body that would never grow old. He was then approached by Konan who invited him into Akatsuki. Sasori was partnered with Orochimaru who held the same ideals of becoming an eternal existence.

When Orochimaru leaves Akatsuki due to losing a fight against Itachi, Sasori becomes irritated at his old partner. His new partner is Deidara who also loves art. The two always have long discussions and fights about whether art is eternal or fleeting.

About Sasori: Abilities

Sasori is a very powerful shinobi and is an S-rank missing-nin. He has the ability to kill the Third Kazekage and steal his body to make it into a puppet. After leaving his village Sasori changed his body into a puppet with only his core being the only living part. Thanks to his puppet body he was able to survive poison and even didn't need to eat or sleep. When he was fighting he wasn't restrained to the limitations of a human body such as fatigue, wounds, or pain. In addition to his puppet body, Sasori was also a very exceptional puppet user. Using very thin chakra threads that were almost invisible to the naked eye, he was able to control the movements of more than 100 puppets.

Sasori is an important character as the appearance of Akatsuki shows the development of the story. The characters slowly learn of the objectives the criminal organization is trying to achieve and gather together to stop them.

Deidara

Deidara is the partner of Sasori and is one of the first Akatsuki members to appear. They are important characters as they let the characters know their plan is in motion.

Sakura Haruno

Sakura Haruno is one of the main characters of the story and is someone who undergoes a big change. Compared to when she first appeared as a weak girl she can fight against Sasori who is an S-rank missing-nin. The battle against Sasori shows the training Sakura went through to become a very powerful shinobi of note.
