About Doppo Kannonzaka
Doppo is a salaryman at E.L. Medical Co., Ltd and is the third member of Matenro in the Hypnosis Mic series. However, due to his pessimistic nature, he struggles to make friends.
About Doppo Kannonzaka: Background
From a young age, Doppo has been a pessimist. His dark and gloomy atmosphere made it difficult to create new friends, and he was always a loner. However, he meets Hifumi Izanami in elementary school and has been friends ever since then. Hifumi is one of the few friends Doppo has and greatly cares for him. They two also meet Honobono Keitoin, but due to her experience, Hifumi develops a phobia of women.
While Doppo is overall a negative person when with close friends, he does show moments of fun and positive attitudes. His work as a salaryman affects him negatively and worsens his mental state. As a result, he goes to Jakurai Jinguji for counseling.
Later on, Matenro is formed when Hifumi and Jakurai meet for the first time. Doppo enlists Jakurai's help after Hifumi and Doppo are attacked by Hifumi's obsessive stalker. Initially reluctant, Jakurai helps them, and when everything is resolved, Jakurai asks if they would like to form a group with him. Doppo and Hifumi agree, hence creating Matenro, representing the Shinjuku Divison.
About Doppo Kannonzaka: Abilities
Doppo's rap ability is "Berserk". His power gives him explosive offensive power but, in return, drains his energy. He can also control his power and becomes unbeatable while his ability is activated. His rap ability was initially not released as it was too mentally and physically too draining. However, at the last stage, he released his ability.

Despite his negative attitude Doppo has multiple close friendships. In particular with Hifumi Izanami and Jakurai Jinguji.
Hifumi Izanami
Hifumi Izanami and Doppo first met in elementary school. Since then, the two have been friends and have gone to the same elementary, middle, and high school. They have maintained a strong friendship throughout all of these years. After high school, the two decide to rent and live together. Due to Hifumi's looks and charismatic attitude, he often finds himself in trouble, which Doppo is always around to help. For example, with the stalker incident, Doppo saves the day by enlisting Jakurai's help and placing a safety mat by the window so that when the stalker and Hifumi fell, the two were not injured. Despite the trouble Doppo faces because of Hifumi, he still deeply cares for him and will help and support him no matter what.
Jakurai Jinguji
Jakurai and Doppo first meet when Jakurai becomes his counselor. They know each other through their respective companies, as Doppo's company, E.L. Medical Co. LTD, provides the medical devices at Shinjuku Central Hospital, where Jakurai works. Doppo introduces the Jakurai and Hifumi to each other. They become further acquainted when Hifumi has his stalker incident. They enlist Jakurai's help to heal her broken mind. After this incident, Jakurai invites both Doppo and Hifumi to create a rap group with him. Doppo thoroughly trusts and respects Jakurai.
Jyuto Iruma
Doppo was once upon a time interrogated by Jyuto. The reason he was interrogated is unknown, but Doppo is intimidated by him and calls him a dirty cop.
Honobono Ketoin
The two meet in high school, and along with Hifumi, they become a close group of friends. However, this friendship disappears due to an unknown incident. The incident is somehow related to Hifumi developing a phobia of women.
