Risotto Nero JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Nendoroid

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a popular series with a long history. This series was written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki and the manga was first published in 1987. The first season of the anime was then released on the 6th of October which covered the first two parts of the series. Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is a series that tells the bizarre adventures of the protagonist which changes with each part. There are many parts to the story and one of the popular parts would be part 5, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind. In this part, one of the characters to appear is Risotto Nero who is part of an assassination group. He is the leader of La Squadra Esecuzioni and is a popular character. Nendoroid JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind Risotto Nero

Enjoy the bad boy but yet also cute Risotto Nero Nendoroid. He wears his usual outfit seen in the series that consists of striped pants, an open jacket, and a hood with metallic baubles hanging off them. Risotto's distinct eyes have been faithfully recreated showing the black sclera and red irises giving him a menacing look.

The Nendoroid comes with three different facial expressions to choose from. The first one shows a serious face as his eyes have been narrowed like he is very focused and his mouth is in a straight line. The second face shows an angry face, his eyes are wide and his mouth is open as though he were shouting. The last expression has Risotto looking down and frowning. This expression allows the fans to make Risotto stand in his signature pose with his arms behind his head as he looks down and one leg forward. He also comes with his Stand, Metallica which looks like small metallic ghosts. There are also alternate arm and hand parts to help recreate some other famous Jojo poses.

About Risotto Nero

Risotto’s name comes from an Italian rice dish and his last name, Nero, means black in Italian. His assassination team and himself are antagonists in the series and serve as various trials for the protagonist and their group.

About Risotto Nero: Background

Risotto is an assassin in the mafia group Passione and is the leader of La Squadra Esecuzioni. As he is the leader of his group he cares about his subordinates and is the first to notice his team member’s absence. After realizing his team members had been killed he stayed the longest during their funeral and vowed to avenge them.

Risotto was a team leader but he wasn’t satisfied with the order of the organization. Two of his team members try to investigate their boss but are later found dead as a punishment and a warning. His team was then put on a tight leash with their actions restricted making them very unsatisfied. After Risotto finds out about Trish Una, the boss’s daughter, he sets out to try and kidnap her in order to discover the true identity of their mysterious boss.

About Risotto Nero: Abilities

Risotto has a Stand called Metallica that looks like many small metallic ghosts. They reside in his bloodstream and allow him to manipulate iron by magnetism. For example, during his fight with Vinegar Doppio, Risotto was able to manipulate the blood in Vinegar’s mouth to create blades and nails.

Risotto is a very serious and intelligent character. His analyzing skills allow him to almost predict the future and act in a favorable way. He is able to calmly build plans and battle strategies without becoming overwhelmed when he is on the losing end. During his fight with Vinegar, his keen eyesight allowed him to pick up on the slight movement of Vinegar’s eyes to realize he was also a Stand user.

Risotto appears only vaguely a few times and his full appearance wasn’t shown until the end. As he is the leader of his assassination group he gives orders to his team to get rid of team Bucciarati.

Giorno Giovanna

Giorno Giovanna is the protagonist of the Golden Wind series and the story follows the adventures he and his friends have. Giorno wishes to change the mafia group Passione to be a group that will help and protect those in need. While trying to figure out the true identity of their boss they fight against the members of Risotto’s group who are in their way.

Bruno Bucciarati

Bruno Bucciarati is the team leader of the group Giorno joins. When Bruno and Giorno first fight against each other they discover secrets about each other. They both don’t like the drug trading going around their environment that harms the young and innocent. To protect the boss’s daughter, Trish Una, they fight against Risotto’s assassins who are trying to harm her.
