League of Legends is set in the world of Runeterra, in Valoran. In the country of Valoran, wars would keep occurring one after the other. The people of Valoran came together to settle the disputes with the cities and tribes with violence. They later resolved that magic was the most efficient way to wage war. The most incredible workers of magic on all sides were called summoners. As the wars continued, Valoran reached a point where it could physically not take any more Runewars. Instead, they created an Institute of War between the two most potent cities to create the League of Legends to stop the fighting.

The idea was that if the more powerful side would win the war, they could figure out the powerful side without physically destroying the continent. In Summoners Rift, the two sides would choose five summoners to represent them.

In the game, there are 159 champions with 17 original champions. Known for her hotheadedness, impulsiveness, and fearlessness, Vi is a very popular champion. She was also featured in the Arcane TV series, centered in the League of Legends world.
