JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a popular series written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. The anime was first aired on the 6th of October 2012 and the unique art style paired with the bold coloring gained attention. The season with one of the most unique art styles is Part 4, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable. The most noticeable aspect of the art style is the bizarre sky color which is usually a pale yellow that is always present in Morioh Town. The protagonist of Part 4 is Josuke Higashikata, a high school student who encounters many bizarre events in his small town. From the Nendoroid line is Josuke in a small and cute form. He wears his usual school uniform of a black gakuran with his chest opened to show his yellow shirt underneath. On his chest are two badges, one in the shape of a heart and the other a peace sign.

Enjoy the three different facial expressions that Josuke has. One is a standard expression where he is slightly smiling while looking straight ahead. The second one shows Josuke with a goofy smile where he looks relaxed and smiles widely. The last expression shows Josuke looking serious and ready to fight. His eyebrows are furrowed and his mouth is wide open as though he was shouting his battle cry. There are also various optional features to enjoy different situations and poses. Josuke can hold his school bag, a comb to style his unique hairstyle, a lottery ticket, and a punching effect that shows how powerful his Stand, Crazy Diamond is.

About Josuke Higashikata

Josuke is the main character in Part 4, Diamond is Unbreakable. He is the son of Joseph Joestar from an affair. Although he is younger, Josuke is the uncle of Jotaro Kujo. He is a young and healthy character who appears to be a delinquent but is a truly kind and caring soul.

About Josuke Higashikata: Background

Josuke grew up with a single mother and didn’t know who his father was. He knew his mother still dearly loved his father but Josuke didn’t care as long as his mother was happy. He and his mother are very close and share a friendly relationship with banter and fights full of affection.

When Josuke was a young child he had a very high fever and no matter what his mother did he wouldn’t get better. This fever was caused by Dio Brando awakening the Joestar blood and the Stand ability within him. While Josuke was sick and weak with a fever his mother tried to drive him to the hospital. Unfortunately, it was a night when it was snowing heavily causing her car to get stuck. When his mother was panicking a mysterious young man came to help push her car. Although young, Josuke remembers the hairstyle of the young man and decides to mimic his same hairstyle to honor him. When people make fun of his hairstyle, Josuke flies into an uncontrollable rage.

Josuke dresses and acts like a delinquent with his noticeable pompadour hairstyle. Unlike the other JoJo characters, Josuke is relatively calm and can tolerate being bullied. He tries to keep the peace and wishes to protect the town he was born in. His grandfather was a policeman who worked hard to protect the town. Josuke respected his grandfather and when he died he vowed to protect the town in place of him.

About Josuke Higashikata: Abilities

Josuke has a Stand power called Crazy Diamond. His ability reflects his kind nature of being able to repair anything back to its original state. This includes life-threatening injuries which can be instantly healed. However, Josuke’s ability doesn’t work on himself and he can’t heal his own injuries.

Thanks to his ability to restore objects to their original state Josuke has no qualms in breaking and destroying property. Josuke can think of many different outside-the-box tactics that his foes wouldn’t have thought of. Crazy Diamond is a close-range power type and can unleash a powerful barrage of punches.

Other Important JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Characters

Josuke is the protagonist of Part 4 and interacts with many characters. He has an amiable personality and is easy to like. Although the first impression may not be the best Josuke does have a strong relationship with the characters that appear.

Jotaro Kujo

Jotaro Kujo is the protagonist in Part 3 but only plays a supporting role in Part 4. He helps guide Josuke when they are battling dangerous Stand users and acts as a mentor. He doesn’t play a major factor when fighting and instead does the background work and researching about their foes.

Koichi Hirose

Koichi Hirose is a high school student like Josuke and they quickly become friends. Josuke is a very loyal friend and immediately tries to help Koichi when he finds out he’s in trouble. Koichi in turn has a strong sense of responsibility and helps Josuke protect their town.
