Full Metal Alchemist is a popular series that began as a manga in 2001. It follows the Elric brothers in their search for a way to restore their bodies which were damaged and lost after a failed attempt to revive their mother using alchemy. The story is set in a post-European Industrial Revolution-styled world where the science of alchemy is capable of amazing and nigh magical feats.
The manga was written and illustrated by Hiromu Arakawa and was serialized in Monthly Shōnen Gangan. It has since been adapted into two anime series, a number of movies and OVAs, numerous video games, and a light novel series. Thanks to the high demand for the series there has been a wide production of Fullmetal Alchemist merchandise produced for the consumers.

#788 Edward Elric
Edward Elric is the protagonist of the Full Metal Alchemist series. He is the youngest ever State Alchemist, having achieved this title when he was 12 years old. He is seemingly immature but is capable of acting seriously in dire situations. He has a metal arm and a metal leg, due to losing the original appendages during his attempt at reviving his mother using Alchemy. While he can act childish since he is still young, at times he shows more wisdom and maturity than adults due to what he and his brother have witnessed and experienced together. Edward has a high pain tolerance which can be seen when he barely makes a noise when connecting his automail while most adults would scream in pain. He is very talented and when he is in a pinch he can think of novel ideas to win the fight.

The titular Fullmetal Alchemist comes with three different faces: his standard cocky smile, a serious business face, and an angry expression ("who're you calling short?!"). Special articulated arm parts allow for the classic clap pose as well as other parts that display his right automail arm and a bladed arm version. On top of that, he also comes with alchemy effects such as a wall being transmuted from the ground and a special lower body that puts Edward Elric into a crouch.

#796 Alphonse Elric
Alphonse Elric is the younger brother of Edward Elric. Unlike Edward, Alphonse is calm and friendly, often making him seem more mature than his older brother. Due to losing the entirety of his body in an attempt to revive his mother using alchemy, Alphonse's soul is bonded to a large suit of armor. His personality can almost be seen as a mirror image of his older brother Edward. While Edwards is brash and quick to get angry, Alphonse is patient and is always trying to calm his hot-tempered brother down. However, deep down they share the same caring and selfless personality and care deeply for their friends and close people.

The kind-hearted and earnest younger Elric, Alphonse Elric is suited up and ready for action. The suit of armor that houses his soul comes with three different face plates: his standard serious look which is his usual helmet. The second face plate is a chibi-style expression where his features are drawn very simplistic while looking flustered. Finally, the third expression is also a chibi-style face plate where he looks cute and relaxed. His standard face even features articulated eyes that can be adjusted to look in different directions. Alphonse's love for cats is also on display in this Nendoroid with two different cat accessories on top of a removable chest plate that reveals the compartment in his armor for a cat to rest in. Alphonse can be displayed with his helmet attached or without to recreate the iconic scenes where he removes his helmet to show that he is merely a soul. The alchemy mark drawn by Eric is displayed in the neck area of his armor and can be seen when the helmet is removed.

Roy Mustang is an officer of the Amestrian State Military, as well as a State Alchemist. Although he portrays himself as arrogant and self-absorbed, he is very intelligent and has shown to be a skilled tactician. Roy is known as the Flame Alchemist, thanks to his unique fighting style, in which he changes the concentration of oxygen in the air and then ignites it by clicking his fingers, creating a spontaneous burst of flame.

His articulated arms come complete with carefully detailed Nendoroid-sized transmutation circles on his gloves. Of course, the Flame Alchemist requires flame effects. Extra accessories including his classic finger snap and a line of fire to be placed on the ground in front of him give him a fiery presence. Finally, his loose black coat can be attached to his shoulders as it flutters in the wind.

Riza Hawkeye is Roy's personal bodyguard, as well as an Amestrian State Military officer. Despite her outwardly cold personality, Riza has been seen to display a soft side to young people and animals, particularly her dog Black Hayate.

Envy is an antagonist in the Fullmetal Alchemist series. It is a homunculus that is capable of shapeshifting seemingly limitlessly. Envy is one of the cruelest homunculi, showing delight in the suffering caused by their actions.
