Hatsune Miku 1 - Nendoroid
Hatsune Miku is a character who personifies the Yamaha-created Vocaloid range of voice synthesis software and is a cyber-celebrity. The software and character were created by Crypton Future Media, Inc.
History of Hatsune Miku and Nendoroid
Not much time had passed between the creation of Hatsune Miku on 31 August 2007, and March 2008, when Good Smile Company (hereafter abbreviated as GSC) released their first Hatsune Miku Nendoroid #033. Shortly thereafter, another Miku-related Nendoroid followed based on a specific fanwork, and since then, famous tracks and festivals have been inspiring various Nendoroid Mikus that enjoy vast popularity, as well as the other Vocaloid characters.
Over 40 Nendoroid Mikus (including multiple resales of the very first one and the extra Nendoroid series) have been released, making Miku one of the most popular Nendoroid characters to be produced thus far.
