Yuzuki Roa is a female Japanese VTuber affiliated with Nijisanji. According to her profile, she is a 13-year-old demon who came to Earth to play pranks on humans. She started streaming as a way to spread as much chaos and mischief as possible.

Yuzuki Roa History

Yuzuki made her YouTube debut on January 17, 2019. In March 2020, her channel was monetized. She reached her first channel milestone on May 7, 2019, with 100,000 subscribers on YouTube. In July 2019, she received the 2.0 brush up for her 2D model. In October, Yuzuki reached her second milestone of 200,000 subscribers. On December 8, 2019, she gave her first live performance during the Virtual to Live in Ryogoku Kokugikan 2019. During the performance, Yuzuki debuted her 3D model design. She formally presented the 3D model on YouTube during a live stream on March 19, 2020. On July 4, 2020, Yuzuki celebrated reaching 300,000 subscribers with a birthday chat stream. Yuzuki entered a self-imposed hiatus on October 21, 2020. As of April 2021, she has over 330,000 subscribers on YouTube.

Kingyozaka Meiro Controversy

Kingyozaka Meiro was a Nijisanji VTuber who debuted on July 11, 2020. During her debut stream, Kingyozaka spoke with a unique accent with a striking similarity to Yuzuki's verbal tics. Notably, Yuzuki did not follow Kingyozaka on Twitter, a gesture of support she practiced with every new Nijisanji VTuber. This started rumors that Yuzuki and Kingyozaka experienced a rift behind the scenes. Two months later, Kingyozaka implied that she faced harassment from a fellow VTuber during a live stream. Narukami Sabuki, a gossip VTuber, revealed a series of leaked messages between Kingyozaka and an unidentified friend. In the messages, Kingyozaka claimed that Nijisanji told her to change her accent and detailed further struggles with the company. On October 19, 2020, Nijisanji terminated Kingyozaka's contract for breaching her NDA.

On October 21, 2020, Yuzuki released an apology and screenshots of a conversation with Kingyozaka from August 2020. In the conversation, Yuzuki attempted to set up a face-to-face meeting to discuss the management's comments about Kingyozaka's accent. Kingyozaka did not refuse the suggestion but never followed through with setting up a meeting. After months of rumors and disparaging comments, Yuzuki's reputation plummeted. She has not been active on YouTube or social media since posting her apology.

Yuzuki Roa Physical Description

Yuzuki is a short teenage girl with long, maroon hair and small, black devil horns. She has two different eye colors: her left eye is red and her right eye is teal. As a demon, she has bat-like wings and a devil tail often not visible during streams. In her most recent default outfit, she wears a short white dress with a fitted bodice, ruffled skirt, and sleeves. Around her neck, she wears a loose blue ribbon, matching the bow on her tail. Her accessories include a small crown, a crescent moon-shaped barrette, and a large pink flower hair ornament.

Yuzuki Roa Personality

Yuzuki has an excitable, childlike personality. When discussing her favorite topics, she often gets carried away and talks excessively. Her favorite subjects include Japanese history, anime, junk food, and nature. While she wishes to cause mayhem for humanity, Yuzuki's kindhearted demeanor prevents her from achieving her goals. Instead, she often goes out of her way to help others and form friendships. She is very close with Ars Almal and Belmond Banderas and often collaborates with them. One of her defining characteristics is her unique accent. Dubbed a "makai," or hell, accent, she often invents specific slang words and ends her sentences with "deyo."

Yuzuki usually streamed popular games within the Nijisanji community, such as Minecraft and Fall Guys. She occasionally participated in agency-wide tournaments, especially when she enjoyed the central game.

Splatoon 2

Splatoon is Yuzuki's favorite game. When she became a VTuber, she tried to make fellow Nijisanji members play Splatoon 2 with her. After her insistence, Splatoon 2 became one of the group's most played games. Despite her love of the franchise, Yuzuki lacks skills in Splatoon compared to other Nijisanji members. She participated in the Nijisanji Splatoon Cup held on February 29, 2020. Her team included Eli Conifer, Hayama Marin, and Hanabatake Chaika. They were the seeded team in the tournament C block but lost in their first match. Her last Splatoon 2 stream before entering hiatus was on July 8, 2020.

Kudo Chitose

Kudo Chitose is a former member of Nijisanji. Yuzuki and Kudo met while playing Minecraft and quickly became close friends. They frequently mentioned each other during chat streams and hung out outside of streams. In August 2019, Kudo announced her plans to retire. The two streamed a farewell collaboration in Minecraft and built a grave for Kudo. The flower ornament in Yuzuki's recent outfit is one of Kudo's old hair clips. As of April 2021, Yuzuki's Twitter header photo still depicts fanart of her and Kudo together.
