This high ticket figurine by Orchid seed was brought back due to the high demand by fans. This beach-themed figurine shows Sonico in a light blue and gold two-piece swimsuit that appears to be popping right off of her, leaving her with an adorable surprised expression. She is also donning her signature guitar necklace, a sweet golden rose hairpiece, and of course, her headphones. This carefully crafted piece shows the movement of her hair and swimsuit exceptionally well, and her body lines are defined flawlessly.

Super Sonico Hestia Ver.1/7th Scale Figure
This goddess style crossover figurine was based on another illustration by Tsuji Santa for Super Sonico’s tenth anniversary. Sonico is featured wearing Hestia’s outfit from ‘Is it Wrong to Try to Pick up Girls in a Dungeon?’ This figure depicts Sonico in a new style, with her long hair tied up in two pigtails and kneeling down on one knee while she sports an innocent smile. This goddess outfit reveals the arch of Sonico’s lower back in a lovely and classy fashion. Buyers can also receive an illustration card with Tsuji Santa’s original illustration.

The Super Sonico Series Story

Series Overview
Super Sonico the Animation is a light-hearted slice of life anime. It centers around bright and cheerful Sonico in modern-day Tokyo as she juggles all her responsibilities. From episode to episode Sonico and her friends go through various silly antics as they live their everyday lives and learn to love and come to terms with themselves. Sonico herself wants to grow as a band member and a professional model. The band’s various songs are presented as the opening and ending songs for the anime. Overall, the anime creates a relaxed and positive atmosphere with relatable characters that build each other up, stunning artwork, and great music.
Series Characters
The anime is mostly centered around the innocent and bright Super Sonico herself, although viewers rarely see her by herself. Series Production
The first time Sonico was released to the public was in 2006 by Nitroplus, a Japanese visual novel video game developer. She appeared as a mascot for a music festival held by them and began to gain traction after that. Merchandising skyrocketed in 2011 when the first Super Sonico album was released. In the same year, a manga and a visual novel were released, its popularity following that of Nitroplus itself. Finally, in 2014, came the Super Sonico anime.
Series Reception
Super Sonico is loved and revered by its fans and the character has become a central figure for Nitroplus. Her merchandise is a must-have for collectors and Nitroplus fans and her sweet demeanor and personality has reared a massive fanbase. It ran for 12 episodes in 2014 and to this day remains popular amongst anime fans.
