Shadow Sonic - Figures
With his edgy design and anti-hero personality, Shadow the Hedgehog quickly became one of the most popular Sonic the Hedgehog characters. Although intended to be a one-time character, Shadow's popularity prompted SEGA to bring him back as a recurring character. Since his debut in 2001, Shadow makes an appearance in nearly every main Sonic the Hedgehog series and spin-off title. Three Shadow figures that represent his widespread appeal are "Sir Lancelot Shadow Sonic and the Black Knight," "Shadow the Hedgehog," and the "Super Poser Shadow | Sonic the Hedgehog."
Sir Lancelot Shadow Sonic and the Black Knight Figure
Jazwares calls back to Sonic and the Black Knight for this Arthurian-inspired Shadow the Hedgehog figure. As the alternate reality Sir Lancelot, Shadow wears a full set of armor to signify his knight status. The game's version wears black armor matching Shadow's color scheme. However, this version features a limited edition purple armor, painted with a pearlescent finish. Despite the different reality, Shadow still wears his inhibitor rings over his armor. The figure includes a mask to complete Shadow's helmet and his legendary sword, Arondight.

The inhibitor rings on his wrists and ankles feature a metallic gold paint. The base takes on a runway appearance and features a hand-painted number within the limited series.

About Shadow
Shadow the Hedgehog is a hedgehog and Black Arms hybrid in the Sonic the Hedgehog Universe. Shadow serves as the franchise's anti-hero and Sonic's rival.
Background
Gerald Robotnik created Shadow using DNA from Black Doom in an effort to create "the ultimate lifeform." Gerald meant to use Shadow to find a cure for his granddaughter Maria's terminal illness. However, the military captured Shadow, labeled him a threat, and kept him in stasis for fifty years. Eggman released Shadow to use him in his plan to take over the world. Shadow goes along with Eggman, secretly planning to destroy the world and exact revenge for Maria. He decides instead to stop Eggman's plans and loses his memory in the process. After fighting Black Doom and learning the true events of the past, Shadow vows to protect Earth in Maria's honor.
Abilities
Shadow possesses extreme speed and boosted power equal to Sonic the Hedgehog. His nimble form allows him to perform mid-air acrobatic stunts at lightning-fast speeds. While not as strong as Knuckles the Echidna, Shadow's brutal combat style and enhanced strength make him a formidable fighter. Like Sonic, Shadow can tap into the power of the Chaos Emeralds. He can achieve a Super form using all seven Chaos Emeralds, but he can't maintain it for long. Shadow mainly uses spin-based attacks. His unique ability, Black Tornado, allows him to throw opponents long distances by creating a small, powerful whirlwind with his body.

Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic the Hedgehog is the franchise's eponymous hero and Shadow's rival. Sonic behaves "like the wind," drifting from place to place looking for adventure. He values freedom above all else and hates being tied down. Sonic first meets Shadow after a case of mistaken identity gets him in trouble with G.U.N. Sonic and Shadow clash immediately on a fundamental level. Sonic prefers to roam the world as a free spirit, letting the road guide him. Shadow values order and believes a strict moral code should drive one's life.
Maria Robotnik
Maria Robotnik was Gerald Robotnik's terminally ill granddaughter and the reason behind Shadow's creation. While alive, Maria had a cheerful, strong spirit despite her weak body. Due to her condition, Maria could not leave the ARK space colony and visit Earth, her greatest dream. She and Shadow grew up together on the ARK and became very close friends. Maria sacrificed herself to save Shadow when he came under military attack. Her dying wish was for Shadow to use his power to protect the people of ARK and Earth.
