My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU (also known by its abbreviated Japanese title, OreGairu) is a romantic comedy light novel series that was written by Wataru Watari and illustrated by Ponkan8. The series eventually received its first anime adaptation in April 2013, which was produced by studio Brain’s Base. Both the original light novel series and anime adaptation would go on to perform rather well, with fans praising the franchise for its relatable and endearing characters.

My Teen Romanic Comedy SNAFU Climax Yukino Yukinoshita: White Kimono Ver. 1/7 Scale Figure

This figure of Yukino features her in a beautiful white and lilac-colored kimono that flows elegantly around her body. The lilac layer of the kimono is decorated with a geometrical pattern while the topmost white layer has an intricate floral pattern. Her outfit is also decorated with a variety of accessories, like a fan embellished with tassels and flowers. Nendoroid My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Climax Yukino Yukinoshita Figure

This recreation of Yukino, like many others in the Nendoroid popular line, takes her design and gives it an adorable super-deformed twist. Despite the shrunken, simplified design of the figure, it still has an impressive amount of detail, especially in Yukino’s school uniform. This figure also has a variety of different accessories that allow its user to customize this small rendition of Yukino in a variety of different ways. Some of the extra parts in this figure include a book, Yukino’s Pan-san plushie, and a pair of cat ears she can wear on her head.

This figure from Taito shows off Yukino trying to pull off a cute cat pose as she wears a pair of black cat ears on the top of her head that match her hair. Yukino is posed standing as she looks back behind herself as she holds her hands up to her chest. Her wrists bent down to look like a pair of cat paws. Her cheeks are also slightly blushed, showing a hint of embarrassment. Other aspects of Yukino’s design are also recreated in this figure, like her thigh-high socks and school uniform.

About Yukino Yukinoshita

Yukino is one of the first main characters that is introduced to the protagonist, Hachiman Hikigaya. The following is a brief summary of her character.

Background

Yukino Yukinoshita was born into a fairly wealthy family. Her father is a member of the local prefectural diet while also being a construction company CEO. From a young age, many saw Yukino as being both exceedingly beautiful and smart, leading to many of her peers being jealous of her. In high school, she becomes the president of “Service Club”, a group of students whose goal is to help with any issue that the students or teachers within the school may have.

Personality

Although she was almost constantly harassed in elementary and middle school, Yukino is generally very compassionate toward her peers and wishes to understand them better. Despite this, however, she is often characterized as cold and unapproachable. This perception from her fellow students causes them to give her the nickname “Ice Queen”. She may hold herself in high regard, but this self-confidence in her own ability is her reasoning for helping others, as she follows the ideology that the “strong” should help the “weak”.

Other Important My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Characters

Two characters appear throughout the series that are especially important to Yukino. These characters are Hachiman Hikigaya and Yui Yuigahama.

Hachiman Hikigaya

Hachiman is the main protagonist of My Youth Romantic Comedy SNAFU. He is most known for his loner personality and cynical view of life. In his second year of high school, his homeroom teacher, Shizuka Hiratsuka, forces him to join the Service Club in an attempt to have Hachiman change his outlook on life. This, in turn, caused Hachiman to meet Yukino for the first time, as she was the president and only other member of the club at the time.

Yui Yuigahama

Yui Yuigahama is another heroine from the series and was the first client of the Service Club before she later became a member. She is generally a very outgoing, cheerful, and energetic individual who is quick to become friends with others. This also includes Hachiman and Yukino, even though their cold, matter-of-fact criticisms would be off-putting to others.
