Figuarts Zero Chouette Sailor Moon Sailor Uranus Figure

Bandai's dramatically detailed Sailor Uranus figure displays beautifully on its own or alongside the matching Sailor Neptune figure. She sits atop a nethereal base that resembles both a sheet of silk and a crashing wave. She crosses her legs with her left knee propped up high. There she rests her Space Sword with the blade pointing down. She smirks confidently with her eyes looking off to the side, or back toward Sailor Neptune if posed together. Her uniform and hair feature a pearlescent finish that gives the figure a lustrous quality. Additional accessories include a set of alternate arms: one for Sailor Uranus and one for Sailor Neptune.

About Sailor Uranus

The guardian of the heavens, Sailor Uranus is one of the mysterious new guardians introduced in the series's third arc. As a civilian, Sailor Uranus goes by Haruka Tenou, a skilled racecar driver and local heartthrob.

Background

Before awakening her Sailor Guardian abilities, Haruka Tenou was a star athlete, particularly in the track. One day, a talented artist and virtuoso, Michiru Kaiou, approached Haruka to inform her of her destiny as a Sailor Guardian. After some resistance, Haruka accepted her fate and remained by Michiru's side as a Guardian and civilian. Haruka prefers to wear men's clothing and due to her handsome looks is often mistaken for a man. This doesn't bother her, as she prefers to be seen for who she is as an individual.

Abilities

Sailor Uranus's role as the guardian of the heavens gives her powers related to wind, air, and energy. Her first attack, World Shaking, takes the form of a golden energy sphere with a vertical ring surrounding it like the planet Uranus. As one of the talisman wielders, Sailor Uranus possesses incredible power. Her talisman, the Space Sword, allows her to use the attack Space Sword Blaster. In this attack, Sailor Uranus releases a powerful blast of wind and energy with a slash of her sword.

Other Important Sailor Moon Characters

Though introduced later in the series, Sailor Uranus develops strong relationships with other characters. Particularly, her relationships with the other talisman wielders, dubbed the Outer Senshi, help form her character.

Sailor Neptune

Sailor Neptune debuts as Sailor Uranus's partner and fellow rogue Sailor Guardian outside of the Inner Senshi. Her home planet, Neptune, gives her power over the oceans. Most of her attacks involve perils associated with the sea, such as drowning undercurrents and crushing deep-sea pressure. On her own, Michiru possesses strong psychic abilities, rivaling Sailor Mars. Due to her powerful visions, Sailor Neptune is the only Sailor Guardian to awaken her powers on her own. As civilians, Michiru and Haruka have an openly romantic relationship, likened to that of a playful married couple.

Sailor Pluto

Sailor Pluto is the third talisman wielder among the outer senshi. She debuts earlier than Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune in the Black Moon arc. She is the guardian of the underworld and keeper of the Time Door. Her unique position related to the Time Door leads to multiple continuations of Sailor Pluto throughout the series. As a civilian, she appears as a college student Setsuna Meiou. Together with Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune, Sailor Pluto brings about the Holy Grail and awakening of Sailor Saturn.
