Sakura Minamoto Zombie Land Saga - Figures
Zombie Land Saga surprised viewers in the fall 2018 anime season with its quality animation and unique premise. With a legendary performance by voice actor Miyano Mamoru and the connections to tourism in Saga prefecture, no other series stands out in the same, outlandish way. Nendoroid Zombie Land Saga Sakura Minamoto Figure
Sakura looks cute in both her dressed up idol and zombie forms in this chibi figure from the Nendoroid line. She wears her standard sailor-inspired navy outfit and trademark bow in her hair. The three face plates include a smiling "human" Sakura face and two "zombie" Sakura options, deadpan and panicked. To pair with the zombie facial expressions, the figure comes with zombie colored arm and leg parts. Accessories include her school bag, audition packet, and a paper stand of the truck that ended her life. About Sakura Minamoto
Sakura Minamoto is the main protagonist in the idol comedy anime Zombie Land Saga. She was an ordinary girl who died in 2008 after being hit by a truck. She awakens 10 years later to find she's been revived by a necromancer with plans to create a zombie idol group.
Background
Before her death, Sakura often experienced incredibly bad luck. This led to her developing a cynical and defensive personality. However, an interview with popular idol Ai Mizuno inspires her to take charge of her failure and turn her life around. As Sakura leaves her house, she's immediately killed by an oncoming truck. After becoming a zombie, Sakura retains no memory of her life. She jumps at the chance to participate in an idol group, her life's dream, despite her distrust of the group's founder Kotaro Tatsumi. She serves as the group's leader and emotional core.
Abilities
As a zombie, Sakura will never age past the age she was at death. She can also detach and reattach her limbs and absorb elements like medication and electricity without ill effects. As an idol, she possesses decent singing and dancing talent due to her constant practice mimicking her favorite group, Iron Frill. Her hardworking nature as a student provided her with a wide knowledge base from her studies as well. Her most unique ability is her true "legendary" talent: her unnaturally bad luck that makes her "the Legendary Jinx."

Kotaro Tatsumi
Kotaro Tatsumi is the necromancer and producer responsible for the idol group, Franchouchou. He behaves in an energetic and eccentric manner, often pushing others to follow his outlandish plans. While he presents himself as knowledgeable, Kotaro's idiocy ends up revealing his lies. At the end of the first season, the audience discovers that Kotaro's true identity is Inui, Sakura's former classmate. He learned necromancy and idol management in an effort to make her dreams come true.
Saki Nikaido
Saki Nikaido is the leader of the zombie idol group Franchouchou and former biker gang leader from the 1990s. Her brash, rebellious nature made her the ideal model of a biker gang member. However, her commitment to others' well-being and the value she places on her comrades makes her a fantastic leader. At first, Saki dismisses Sakura as a weak-willed brat. After Sakura displays tenacity during their rap battle, Saki acknowledges her as a worthy partner and friend.
Ai Mizuno
Ai Mizuno is a zombie member of the idol group Franchouchou and former center of the idol group Iron Frill. During her life, Ai had a cheerful, hardworking nature that made her one of the greatest idols of the Heisei period. Upon her zombie awakening, Ai displays a more skeptical and distrustful personality. Initially, Ai clashes with Sakura due to their conflicting personalities, but they grow to support each other over time.
