About Junkrat

Junkrat is the main hero in the Overwatch game. He is a menacing maniac and plays a damage hero role in the game. Here is a brief overview of the character.

Background

Junkrat, also known as Jamison Fawkes is a Menacing, maniacal salvager, who came from the deserted Australian wasteland known as Junkertown. In the wastelands, he was a part of a group of detonation survivors who lived off of the leftover scraps in the area. He is mainly involved in many international crimes and became a fire-loving criminal. Due to his fascination with dangerous materials, he discovered a unique material from nuclear-powered robots which made him a target of bounty hunters, and gangs. After advertising his newly found treasure, he received bodyguard security from a fellow Junker named Roadhog. After getting expelled from Junkertown for crimes, Junkrat and Roadhog embarked on many international crimes which resulted in a large bounty being placed on them. Junkrat is known for being a deceptive criminal and opportunist who easily finds himself in trouble with the law. His dangerous entanglements often led him to be expelled from jobs and areas that he tried to dwell in.

Special Abilities

Junkrat has a wide assortment of abilities and weapons, being a damage hero in Overwatch. His infamous Frag Launcher hurls grenades at far distances towards opponents. Moreover, his Concussion Mine gives him the upper hand in battles, as does his Steel Trap and Total Mayhem moves. Furthermore, he’s capable of jumping, crouching, and performing Quick Melee
