Also featured in the Rebellion movie, this version of Akemi Homura is definitely showing off her strength before a fight. Posing at a grand height of 13” this non-articulated figure is radiating her strength and serious nature. With her lilac school uniform blowing in the breeze with her hair, the scene is set! Giving detail and drawing eyes is her bright red hairband, which is a good contrast with the rest of her uniform. The only thing that could take eyes off of her hairband is her bow, which is what measures to 13”!

Homura Akemi Miko Uniform 1/8 PVC Figure
Being seen here as a Miko, or Shrine Maiden, Akemi is once again featured in an adorable lilac-colored hakama. This figure also comes fully-painted and is 1/8th scale size. While the giant seal can be removed, it cannot be used as it is solely decorative. Slightly smiling, the detail on her hakama-sleeves is absolutely gorgeous and definitely makes her stand out! To give a sense of familiarity, she is still seen with her signature red hairband. The special feature about this special-edition figure is that it comes with a custom base!

About Akemi Homura
Having the powers of time is both a blessing and a curse. Akemi has been through several timelines with her friends. Each time learning and her personality becoming colder. Can she find a timeline where she can save her friends?
Background
Akemi Homura was introduced in episode one as a transfer student to Mitakihara Middle School. Shortly after, she was given the powers of time. Akemi is shy until she earns her powers and goes back in time and finds out about a plot to trick her new friends. Her goal turns to stop the plot to trick her friends, the only issue is getting them to believe her. Akemi is shy and cold because she has no social skills. She never got a chance to develop social skills because she had a heart disease at a young age.
Special Abilities
Akemi’s main special ability is her shield’s ability to turn back time. It can turn back time almost indefinitely and even stop time. She doesn’t use these skills in battle, however, as she mainly uses her bow. She has also been known to use various explosives and even stolen firearms.

Akemi’s first friend is Kaname Madoka, who was the first to make Akemi feel welcome at her new school. Kyubey is another important character, as it is the only way for a girl to turn into a magical girl.
Kaname Madoka
Kaname is another Magical girl who is Akemi’s first friend at Mitakihara Middle School. Kaname has seen magical girls fight witches before, and has felt extremely normal and unhelpful since. In every timeline that Akemi has been in, Kaname has either died or turned into a witch. Kaname realized that she could rewrite the laws of the universe. She made it so that when a magical girl would start becoming a witch, she would appear and stop the transformation. This made her become an omniscient savior that would exist for all time. Leaving only her brother and Akemi with memories of her.
Kyubey
The secretly evil Kyubey. Its deceivingly cute looks are just a ruse. Its real goal is sinister. Kyubey grants the wish of girls and turns them into magical girls to fight witches. What isn’t revealed until later in the series is that it gives girls powers so they will turn into witches. While Kyubey is how everyone gets their powers, Kyubey does this to harvest their emotional energy. Kyubey is secretly an alien that uses the emotional energy to stave off the destruction of the entire universe. Despite Akemi trying to kill Kyubey, it is also unkillable, and will continuously generate new bodies for itself.
