Deadpool - Action Figures
Deadpool is a fictional character that appears within the American comic books series published by Marvel Comics. He was created by writer Fabian Nicieza and artist/writer Rob Liefield. His first appearance was in The New Mutants #98 in February of 1991. At first, Deadpool is portrayed as a supervillain, but he later becomes an antihero. Deadpool’s real name is Wade Wilson, a mercenary with an accelerated healing ability. He’s quite the joker, being known as very sarcastic and often making fourth wall jokes. His popularity caused him to be featured in many different forms of media, from movies, animated films, comics, video games, and more. There are many different figures of Deadpool available for purchase. Some of these are: the ArtFX+ Marvel NOW! Deadpool Figure, the Variant Play Arts Kai Deadpool Figure, and the Deadpool: Breaking the Fourth Wall Non-Scale Figure.

The colors of this piece are very deep, with the sculpting of this figure being true to the original. There is also an additional hand part with another katana for fans who want to pose him during battle. This figure comes pre-painted with a magnetic display base and magnets in his feet.

Deadpool Series Story
The story of the film Deadpool (2016) begins with Wade Wilson, who works as a mercenary. Life is pretty good for Wade until he is tortured, disfigured, and transformed by an evil scientist, Ajax. Ajax’s experiments ultimately leave Wade Wilson with a disfigured face and body as well as accelerated healing abilities. Wade is not happy about this situation at all though. He hunts down two mutant allies, Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead, in order to help him fight against Ajax. He uses his new abilities to hunt Ajax down to reverse the disfigurement done to his face and body.
Deadpool Series Development
Deadpool was created through the minds of two different people, Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza. Liefeld was the one who came up with his visual design and his name, and Nicieza was the one who came up with his personality and speech. With these two great minds put together, they created the now very popular antihero, Deadpool. Liefeld and Fabian had many different things that inspired them to create Deadpool. However, the main inspiration is Deathstroke, a character from Teen Titans. Deadpool was originally meant to be a villain, as time went on he went from a supervillain to a comedic antihero. His critical reception has been positive, with fans enjoying his unique role within the Marvel series.
