About Chun-Li
Chun-Li made her first appearance within the second installment of the main Street Fighter video game series, Street Fighter II in 1991. The inspiration for Chun-Li was primarily from the character Tong Pooh, a female character from the Capcom game Strider. Chun-Li is both an expert martial artist as well as an Interpol officer. She relentlessly seeks revenge for the death of her father, who was killed by the leader of the Shadaloo crime syndicate. Her reception has been very positive since her release. In fact, she has become a trailblazer for female characters in video games since her release.

Ryu is a character within the Street Fighter series who has served as the main protagonist throughout. He is a young martial artist who wants nothing more than to become the best fighter ever. He spends all of his time training and fighting, trying to improve his abilities. He enrolls in the martial arts tournaments in order to prove himself to others that he is the best. He wears a white karate gi with the sleeves torn off as well as a long red headband and black martial arts belt.
M. Bison is a character within the Street Fighter series who serves as the primary antagonist. He made his first appearance within Street Fighter II as an unplayable boss character. He is the leader of the Shadaloo crime syndicate and seeks world domination. M. Bison is also the one who is responsible for the death of Chun-Li’s father. He generally wears a red military uniform with large silver shoulder plates, shin guards, and wristbands. He is a tall and muscular man, often seen with a maniacal grin on his face.
