Angel Beats! Kanade Tachibana: Bunny Style 1/8 Scale Figure
This 1/8 scale figure features Angel dressed in an outfit that is a bit different than what she is normally pictured in. Instead, she is pictured in a cute, flirty bunny girl outfit, complete with adorable black bunny ears. She has been sculpted with a plate of her favorite food in one hand and a spoon in the other, seemingly offering a spoonful. This figure is wonderfully detailed, with her outfit reflecting light just like the real thing would. The flow of her hair is carefully sculpted to truly capture the movement of this figure. Angel Beats! Series Story
Angel Beats! is a fantasy anime series set in a high school in the afterlife. The high school serves as a kind of limbo where people who experienced trauma while they were alive go to overcome their hardships. After they overcome these hardships, they are allowed to pass on and be reincarnated. The story follows a boy with amnesia, Yuzuru Otonashi, as he enters the afterlife. There he meets Yuri Nakamura, who asks him to join the Afterlife Battlefront to fight with her. This group was created by Yuri herself and was meant to punish an unseen God for their unfair lives. Otonashi joins the Afterlife Battlefront and helps fight against Angel, who is believed to be associated with the unseen God.
Angel Beats! Series Development
The Angel Beats! story was originally created by Jun Maeda, who also wrote the screenplay and composed the music for the animated series. The anime was produced by P.A. Works and Aniplex and directed by Seiji Kishi. It was originally broadcasted from April 3, 2010, and June 26, 2010. There was also an original video animation (OVA) episode that was released in December 2010, as well as a second OVA released in June 2015. There are also four manga series in Dengeki G’s Magazine that were released between November 2009 and May 2010. The reviews for Angel Beats! are generally positive. The music and animation are both praised by critics.
