About Edward Newgate “Whitebeard”

Edward Newgate “Whitebeard” has many different accolades to his name. He is known as the “Strongest Man in the World”, and the “Man Closest to One Piece”. He was also a member of the legendary Rocks Pirates and was one of the Four Emperors that ruled over the New World. Whitebeard made his first appearance as a silhouette form in chapter 159 of the manga and episode 95 of the anime. His first real appearance wasn’t until a long while later in chapter 234 and episode 151. Whitebeard was called the strongest man in the world for a reason. He boasts physical power that far surpasses even a giant.

Jinbe, also known as the “Knight of the Sea” is the helmsman of the Straw Hat Pirates. He is the tenth member of the crew. Jinbe is a whale shark fish-man who is a master of Fish-Man Karate.
