Avengers - Action Figures
The Avengers are a team of superheroes that appear in comics published by Marvel Comics. The first comic of this series was debuted in The Avengers #1 which was published in September 1961. The concept of this team as well as many of the characters were created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee. The group was labeled as “Earth’s Mightiest Heroes” and would go on to fight against evil for several issues. Since the release of the comics, the Avengers have gone on to appear on a wide variety of media platforms. Most notably, they have appeared in the live-action film series of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There are some figures available for purchase of these characters now. Vision: Marvel Universe Figure
This figure features Vision at 1/10 his normal scale standing at approximately 8.7” tall with his included base. This figure is based upon the concept art for the Avengers film series that was created by artist Adi Granov. He stands with a neutral expression with his hands out in front of him, seemingly ready for battle. There is definitely not an ounce of detail missing from this piece. The colors of his suit are very vibrant, the green, and yellow contrasting greatly. His cape is sculpted as though it is swaying out behind him, caught in the wind. The rock that he is displayed on also has a considerable amount of detail, completing the piece nicely.

Scarlet Witch: Marvel Universe Figure
This figure of Scarlet Witch features her at 1/10 her original scale standing at approximately 8.3” tall. She stands with a neutral expression, one hand reaching out in front of her. This figure is sculpted beautifully, perfectly capturing the motion of this piece. Everything about this piece simply exudes power. Her hair flows down her back in beautiful waves, while her cape flows below her. These small details put together make the piece feel much more alive. This figure was also painted with expertise, the bright red of her suit catching the light beautifully. The rock that Scarlet Witch is displayed on is also full of detail, a great finishing touch for this piece.

Black Widow, Avengers: Endgame DX Edition Nendoroid Figure
This Nendoroid figure of Black Widow features her as she appears within the Avengers: Endgame film. She stands at approximately 3.9” tall in cute yet still very powerful chibi form. She comes with a series of accessories for fans to enjoy. Some of the options are her batons, handguns, and a few hand replacements. She also comes with two face plates, one with a series face and one smiling, for added posing possibilities. Her Avengers suit looks very true to the original film, each detail expertly sculpted and painted. Avengers Series Story
Throughout the Avengers comic book series, there are many different stories for fans to enjoy. These stories span across decades, starting from back in 1963 to today. The origin story for the Avengers begins with Loki seeking revenge against his brother, Thor. Thor battles against his brother fruitlessly, with Loki using the Hulk as a pawn. Ant-Man, the Wasp, and Iron Man are gathered to fight against Loki along with Hulk and Thor. Through working together the group is finally able to vanquish Loki. Thereafter, they decided to form a team since they had worked together so well, thereby creating the Avengers.
Avengers Series Development
The first Avengers comic was published by Marvel Comics back in 1961. Since then, the popularity of this superhero team has absolutely skyrocketed. The modern popularity of the series was brought in part by the rise of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The first live-action film of the Avengers series debuted in 2012 and was followed by a series of sequels. The films received a very positive critical reception. In fact, the first film in the series was labeled as one of the 100 greatest films of all time in an Empire magazine poll. The final film in the Avengers series, Avengers: Endgame, is currently the highest-grossing film of all time.
