X-Men Series Story

The story of the X-Men series surrounds a group of people who are referred to as “mutants”. These mutants are a human subspecies who are both with superhuman abilities that are activated by something called the “X-Gene”. In the X-Men universe, mutants are highly discriminated against in society. Because of this, a man named Charles Xavier, or Professor X, is the founder of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters, which recruits mutants from around the world. In this school, mutants are protected from the outside world and taught how to use their powers, as well as how to coexist with society. Professor X’s arch enemy is Magneto, a powerful mutant that leads the Brotherhood of Mutants. Because of their opposing views about society and the relationship between humans and mutants, there is a lot of conflict between these two groups.

X-Men Series Development

The X-Men is an American comic book series that first began its publication in September 1963. There were two main creators of the series, Jack Kirby, the artist and co-writer, and Stan Lee, the writer. The creation of the X-Men series began after the success of many other popular Marvel comic series. After Stan Lee saw great popularity with comics like Spider-Man, Hulk, and Iron Man, he decided he wanted to create a new group of heroes. However, he didn’t want to spend a bunch of time explaining how all of these people got their powers. In the end, he just decided to label them as “mutants”. While the X-Men series was published by Marvel Comics, X-Men is not officially a part of the Marvel Universe.
