Elsa Granhiert also infamously known as the Bowel Hunter was an assassin working for an assassination organization that is based out of Gusteko. At first glance she has a gentle looking expression with her long black hair tied and hanging down one side of her head and kind looking purple eyes. Contrasting that however is her black dress that is very low cut down the middle and also features very tall slits up on either side of her legs. She wears a purple flower in her hair and she wears a floor length cape that blocks magic attacks (though it is destroyed after one use). Elsa is soft spoken most of the time but very quickly drops that veneer when confronted with a fight where she becomes manic and excitable.
History
Elsa is from and grew up in the land of Gusteko. As an orphan she resorted to stealing for a living. Once when she got caught she was almost raped but in self-defense she grabbed a piece of glass and ripped into her assailant's stomach. From then on she built up her reputation as a well-known assassin and eventually joined the Assassin Organization under the leadership of a figure known as Mama who is in actuality Capella Emerada Lugnica, the Sin Archbishop of Lust.
During this time Elsa was ordered to retrieve a feral child in a forest. She went out and killed all of the Demon Beasts that lived with the child and returned with one Meili who was raised completely outside of civilization. As the child grew up, she would adopt a lot of mannerisms such as speech patterns from Elsa due to their proximity.
Eventually Elsa would hire a thief in the capital of Lugnica named Felt to steal an insignia that proclaimed ones qualification to be a Royal Candidate from Emilia. This event would kick off the story with Elsa killing Subaru for the first time. Unbeknownst to her Subaru would repeat the day until eventually Elsa is fought off through the combined efforts of Subaru, Emilia, Old Man Rom, Felt, and the late arrival of Reinhard. She recognizes Reinhard immediately and is initially overjoyed to fight him though Reinhard's sword the Dragon Sword Reid did not deem her a worthy enough opponent to be drawn. In fact he handily holds her off until he unleashes a finishing strike. Elsa for her part is able to survive (possibly thanks to her Blessing) and lands a fatal blow on Subaru before retreating.
A while later she is hired by Roswaal to kill the occupants of the Mathers mansion in order to push Subaru's desperation. Elsa calls in the aid of Meili and together throughout multiple timelines cause a lot of death. However in the timeline where Subaru survives, she is pushed to the brink by being forced to fight against Garfiel Tinsel as Subaru scrambles to save everyone that he can within the mansion. Eventually although Elsa and Meili are able to corner the mansion residents using Demon Beasts and fire, Elsa's Blessing is pushed past its limits and she dies as the burning mansion collapses on top of her.
Relationships
Capella Emerada Lugnica - Also known as Mama, Capella is the leader of the assassin organization that Elsa belongs to.
Meili Portroute - Elsa brought Meili into the assassin organization and taught her many basic skills like speech. As such, Meili has imprinted heavily on Elsa and derives a lot of mannerisms from her. Meili was also brought on as a professional partner when Elsa was hired for the job at the Mathers mansion.
Roswaal L. Mathers - Hired Elsa to kill the occupants of the Mathers mansion.
Garfiel Tinsel - Was able to fight Elsa head to head when she attacked the Mathers mansion and was instrumental for pushing her Blessing to the point where she could be permanently killed.
Abilities
Blessing - The official term for this is actually curse doll as it is in fact a curse which involves carving a mark containing information on a target upon someone. Upon activation, the marked person gains immortality at the cost of their sense of self and are driven to kill the target, dying once the task is complete. However, Elsa had a version of this cast upon her which did not destroy her sense of self thus granting her a form of immortality. It is based on this that she called herself a vampire though she only has the regeneration of one and did not require blood nor did she have any of the traditional weaknesses of a vampire. This so called blessing had a limitation as repeated deaths degraded her physical form as well as her sanity and eventually was able to be overpowered resulting in a true death.
Skilled Assassin - Elsa was a tremendously skilled assassin possessing incredible strength and agility as well as having a mastery of blade techniques that aim to overwhelm and surprise the target. This coupled with her blessing allowed her to be extremely persistent and deadly even to opponents who were aware of her let alone anyone unprepared for her attacks.
Knitting and Sewing - Elsa is known to be skilled at doll creation. Meili carries a Reinhard doll made by Elsa.
Equipment
Magic Cloak - The feathered cloak she wears is one that blocks a magic attack once before it is destroyed. It only works on physical spells and thus won't prevent effects such as the spell Shamak.
Ornate Short Blades - Elsa keeps a number of elaborately designed short swords on her person for attacking. They are extremely sharp and she is adept at drawing one in the attack motion to reduce the time an opponent has to react to her attack.
Throwing Needles - Elsa uses these as a ranged option in addition to her extreme agility to keep fighting at a distance.
White Blade - One of two special blades in her possession this blade is a thick kukri that is heavier than it looks. It is designed to crush bone and emits a heavy pressure when swung that materializes as a beam of light.
Black Blade - One of two special blades that Elsa uses that initially looks like one of her standard knives but has a nasty serrated edge. This blade is designed to gore her opponents rather than making clean cuts.
