Summary
Demon Beasts (魔獣 majū) are monsters with magical powers that were created by the Witch of Gluttony Daphne's subconscious in such a way as to sate any hunger — initially, her own after her transformation into a Witch. The Demon Beasts feed on mana and grow in size indefinitely, which seemed like a good idea to provide as much meat as possible. The plan went awry, however, as the beasts far outgrew the "kettle" size and numbers and turned into monsters that started hunting their intended consumers themselves instead. Daphne herself has expressed no concern over the growth and evolution of her Demon Beasts who have now become dangerous threats to any living thing who cross their paths.

Its back fur constantly burns in tall flames, and it can use the fur to throw essential fireballs or make flaming melee weapons. In addition, it can regrow its parts and even its horn, making it untameable, as well as change its body's construction at will.
