Anastasia Hoshin is the head of the Hoshin Trading Company, also known as the Greedy Princess is a royal candidate to become the 42nd King of Lugnica. She has a petite frame, has blue green eyes, and long wavy purple hair that extends all the way to her hips. She tends to wear a long fairly simple plain white dress with a scarf wrapped around her shoulders that somewhat resembles a cape as well as a large purse shaped like a wallet. She also wears a white fluffy hat and a star shaped hairpin in her hair. In her younger days she had shorter hair and wore a small kimono with polka-dots on the sleeves. Anastasia speaks in a kansai dialect and is energetic and confident in her speech pattern, a self-admitted greedy individual who is never satisfied with what she has.
History
Anastasia's parents died when she was young, leaving her orphaned. She met Ricardo who was a slave at the time while working as a waitress in a bar. As they conversed, she proclaimed that she would be the one to remove his slave collar. For her part, Anastasia had run into some issues with the Chamber of Commerce in the city. Ricardo pledged his help to fix her debts and so they arrived at the Chamber together. After the leader of the Chamber insulted Ricardo, Anastasia demands the removal of his collar in a rage. She is told that she already owes a huge debt and the addition of Ricardo's debt would greatly damage her credit. However, Anastasia pulls out a bag with enough coins in it to not only pay off her debt but also to free Ricardo. After this, the two find themselves with Anastasia's debt paid off and Ricardo now freed. In gratitude he pledges his allegiance to her and would continue to be by her side from then on.
Later, Anastasia found herself working for the Ryuushika Business Association. She was eventually able to amass enough wealth that she just bought the company and renamed it to the Hoshin Trading Company. During talks with the Juukulius family and hoping to expand into the Lugnica Kingdom she discovered that she was eligible to participate in the Royal Selection and her ambition immediately grew to owning a country.
Very quickly after the ceremony officializing the Royal Candidates she was approached by Subaru who proposed a temporary alliance, promising her valuable resources and the elimination of the White Whale. She in turn pledged her standing combat force to his purposes. About a year after that incident Anastasia invited all of the other Royal Candidates to Priestella in the Kararagi City States where she was based for discussions.
Unfortunately before they could get very far the city was attacked by four Archbishops of Sin. The Royal Candidates were forced to band together to deal with the threat with Anastasia playing a crucial role thanks to her connections in and know-how of the city. Unfortunately in a battle with Capella Emerada Lugnica her Artificial Spirit Echidna was forced to take control of Anastasnia's body to save her life. Something went wrong though as Echidna was unable to relinquish her control. Once the incident in Priestella was settled, Anastasia's body being piloted by Echidna joined Subaru and Emilia's team to seek out the Sage Shaula to try and figure out the situation with the body control.
Relationships
Julius Juukulius - Julius is Anastasia's knight and the two have known each other for around seven years at this point. He officially backed her in the Royal Selection and they have a genuine camaraderie and truly care about each other.
Ricardo Welkin - Ricardo leads Anastasia's personal Beast Human mercenary group the Iron Fangs. They have known each other for over 10 years now and he is one of her most trusted confidants.
Mimi, Hetaro, and Tivey Pearlbaton - Mimi Pearlbaton is the second in command of the Iron Fangs and the triplets together are powerful support artillery for the mercenary group. All three are powerful mages and Anastasia often relies on their expertise to handle both social (due to their unassuming appearances) and combat situations.
Natsuki Subaru - Anastasia has taken advantage of Subaru's naivete before but he in turn learned a lot about political manoeuvring from her. Their time in Priestella saw Anastasia relying somewhat on Subaru's insight.
Echidna (Artificial Spirit) - Echidna is an Artificial Spirit that normally takes the form of Anastasia's scarf. Echidna herself is interested in Anastasia which caused the spirit to stick to her in the first place. During the events in Priestella Echidna was forced to possess Anastasia's body to protect her from danger.
Abilities
Normal Person - Anastasia is a human with no Divine Protections nor any magic capabilities because of a hereditary defect with her gate. The latter problem actually becomes an issue for Echidna as her possession and powers consume a lot of mana that Anastasia does not readily have.
Businesswoman - Anastasia is an extremely skilled businesswoman who created a trade empire in only a couple of decades and starting from nothing. This skill has been noted as being completely natural and unaugmented.
