Louis Arneb is a Sin Archbishop of Gluttony focused on the aspect of satiation. She has large blue eyes and blonde hair that is kept so long it trails her on the ground. Her skin tone is white as pottery and she wears rags for clothing. She has been described to emanate evil intent. Just like her brothers, she refers to herself in a collective manner, using 'us' and 'we'.

Gluttony

The Sin Archbishops of Gluttony each focus on a separate aspect of consumption. Louis' aspect is satiation and she doesn't tend to care what she eats, but rather who she eats with. She has said that she disagrees with her brothers' philosophy on eating and that she found them idiotic for those views.

History

Little is currently known about Louis' past. She actually first appears in Priestella during the events of Arc 4. She makes her presence known as Ley is on the verge of being defeated and is able to save her exhausted brothers from being dispatched by the gathered heroes. While not physically present, she possessed Ley and managed to threaten everyone with the full power of the siblings' shared power eclipse. With her intervention her brothers were able to escape the city as the heroes reclaimed it from the siege of other Sin Archbishops.
The following events are not yet canon as it is only currently depicted in the web novel and the light novel has yet to catch up. Later as Subaru and company are investigating the Pleiades Watchtower, Subaru seems to lose all of his memories from when the beginning of the story when he was pulled across dimensions and worlds. In truth, Subaru had stumbled into a place known as the Hall of Memories where Louis had been trapped. She had then proceeeded to eat his memories which caused his amnesia. She becomes delighted at learning about Subaru's Return by Death ability, she became obsessed with using it to be able to find happiness - hoping to use it to be able to always make the right choices to lead to her own satisfaction.
As the amnesiac Subaru finally confronts her, she tries to use mind games to further the seperation of self between the Subaru that existed now and the Subaru that was consumed. She hoped to create enough of a difference so that he would be considered a different person and so that she could once more eat his memories. Finally tiring of her games and deciding that he wouldn't find an answer from her, he wished her the most painful death and found a way out of the Hall of Memories. However, at this point the Watchtower faced a new threat in the form of her brothers attacking. Even trapped away, Louis was able to once more take control of Ley's body and used it to fight the heroes, making it more difficult to achieve their goals. Unfortunately the proper resolution to this arc is not yet fully written even in the web novels and so it is still unclear what happens to Louis Arneb by the end of the events at the Pleiades Watchtower.

Relationships

Ley Batenkaitos - Ley is Louis' brother and is also a Sin Archbishop of Gluttony and represents the aspect of gourmet. They both heavily disagree with each other's perspectives on eating with Ley placing emphasis on what is eaten while Louis prioritizes who she eats with.
Roy Alphard - Roy is Louis' brother and is also a Sin Archbishop of Gluttony and represents the aspect of bizarre eating. Unlike Louis, Roy is completely undiscerning in terms of what he eats.
Subaru - Louis becomes fascinated with Subaru's Return by Death ability once she eats his memories and seeks to somehow use it to her advantage to find her happiness.

Abilities

Authority of Gluttony - Louis possesses the Authority of Gluttony and is able to eat an opponent's name and memories. Through this ability, she possesses a large amount of accrued skill. She is the only one among the siblings who is not intimidated by the full extent of the power afforded by the eclipse aspect of the Authority and is fairly willing to utilize it when needed.
Accrued Skill - Louis leverages everything from martial art techniques and magic from those she has consumed whenever she fights.
