Isekai Quartet

An anime chibi-style crossover series between the Kadokawa-released light novel series Kono subarashii sekai ni shukufuku wo, Overlord, Re:Zero kara hajimeru isekai seikatsu, and The Saga of Tanya the Evil. The second season also introduced The Rising of the Shield Hero.

Plot

A magic button appears out of nowhere for the protagonists of KonoSuba, Overlord, ReZero, and Tanya the Evil. They all press it and are transferred into a parallel world where they live through the experiences of high school.

Synopsis

Season 1

The four worlds' protagonists and their parties find prominent red buttons and press it on purpose or inadvertently. They are sent into another world as the result, where they end up in a school with Kurt von Rudersdorf is the school principal, and the young teams are the students.

Roswaal L. Mathers is a teacher, and explains the "school life" rules. The students introduce themselves. After school, Aqua finds Ainz and his Floor Guardians, and tries to remove the undead with her magic. That does not work, then Kazuma pulls Aqua away, and the next day, Roswaal chastises Aqua for picking a fight.

Demiurge explains that adhering to the school life rules will ensure their return to their worlds. An upcoming talent show is declared. Meanwile, Tanya notices Ainz and suspects him to be the "Being X". In class, she requests a meeting with him in the park after school, and Albedo is not amused. So Tanya and Ainz end up going to the park immediately, and another teacher, Erich von Rerugen, keeps Albedo in.

Tanya and Ainz learn about each other to have been the people of our Earth that ended up in different worlds. Viktoriya Serebryakova drops by to fetch Tanya. Albedo was spying on the talks, and is angry again. The next day, Subaru and Kazuma ask Rem and Darkness, being stronger and faster, to carry them to school so they are not late. They see each other and decide to dismount, which leads the two to be late and punished. Subaru and Kazuma find out that it was their names being in Japanese that had got them into it all. They talk, and Kazuma is jealous to learn that Subaru's party is not useless at all, and declares Subaru his enemy.

Roswaal starts Class Rep and Vice Rep elections. Ainz, Aqua, and Emilia volunteer, and Emilia becomes Class Rep and Ainz Vice Rep. Albedo and Shalltear go for the second Vice Rep, and Albedo becomes one. More Committees are set up.
