War for Paradis Arc - Attack on Titan
The War of Paradis Arc is the ninth and final arc of the Attack on Titan series created, written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. Currently (January, 2020), in the manga, the War of Paradis Arc is included in Chapter 107 to Chapter 125. However the Arc is still not concluded as of yet. In the TV anime version it will be included in the fourth Season of the anime which will be the concluding Season of the anime series. This is the arc that follows the Marley Arc in the storyline.
Summary
Eren Jaeger continues to be imprisoned in his cell as of result of his rebel actions. On the other hand, the remaining members of the Levi Squad talk about what they should do with Eren, as his actions in Marley were questionable. In Liberio, Magath announces that the world will launch a joint attack on Paradis in half a year. Then, Reiner suggests launching a surprise attack before his now enemy Zeke can think of any strategy.
Meanwhile, Zeke reveals to Levi the details of how Ragako’s people were turned into Titans. At the same time, protests proliferate in the cities, and the discontent against the Government and the military increases in the townspeople. This is a result from the imprisonment of Eren, who the townspeople consider a hero. A moment of supporters of Eren orchestrates the murder of Darius Zackly and they gather forces for their next movement, while Eren escapes from prison.
The army has lost hundreds of soldiers who have decided to follow Eren. Therefore, in order to deal with this crisis, commander Pixis suggests conducting a negotiation with the newly named Jaegerists offering them in exchange for their demands, which is, information of Zeke’s whereabouts. Hange and the members of the 104th Training Corps head to a restaurant managed by Marleyan soldiers. There, Nicolo reveals the Zeke’s macabre plan of contaminating thousands of bottles of wine from Marley with his spinal fluid, which have been distributed out to many places in Paradis.
After this revelation, Hange realizes that Zeke has lied about his spinal fluid paralyzing his victims. Then, while Mikasa and Armin try to reassure Gabi that they will not kill him, Eren Jaeger arrives at the room. There Armin questions Eren over attacking Liberio, and Mikasa believes that he is being manipulated. However, Eren explains that the Ackermans were designed to protect Eldia’s Kings. As a result, the Ackermans instinctively protect the one that they recognize as their host, who is, in this case, Eren. So as Mikasa is not free and is dependent on the instinct of protecting him, Eren tells Mikasa that he hates her.
After the Marleyan military’s air force invades Paradis, Zeke uses his scream to transform the Subjects of Ymir and those who drank the poisoned wine into mindless Titans. Eventually, Eren escapes from Reiner, but he gets a shot by Gabi, which leaves him decapitated.
At this moment, Eren wakes up in the coordinate, where all the paths converge. He establishes a connection with Zeke and both can finally figure out the plans of Grisha Jaeger. Once the connection is broken, Zeke is shocked when he realizes that Eren has manipulated the stealing of the Founding Titan. Then, Eren calls out to Ymir, saying that she does not have to be a slave anymore. Ymir hears Eren and lifts her head in tears. Outside the coordinate, Wall Maria shatters, revealing all the Colossal Titans that were kept inside. At the same time, all the Walls start to come down. Also, Armin realizes that this means Annie is now free as well.

Anime
At the end of the final episode of the third Season, NHK, the TV group that broadcasts the show in Japan, revealed that the fourth Season (which would include the War of Paradis arc) will be aired in autumn 2020 (between September and December). Therefore, the fourth Season will be the last one of the anime series.
A specific airing date has not been confirmed yet, nor is Wit Studio going to continue animating the Attack on Titan episodes after the rumours that it would quit the project in 2019.
