Care Bears remains one of the most iconic toy brands in the world. The concept, a group of bears tasked with promoting caring, ended up becoming a smash hit in children's media. Today, the franchise still boasts a powerful reputation among toy makers as it nears its 40th anniversary. Medicom Toy combines the Care Bear design with the BE@BRICK model figure for a nearly perfect collaboration. One of the newest collaboration entries, "BE@RBRICK Care Bears Love-a-Lot Bear 100%," shows off the most lovable Care Bear's cute charm.
Care Bears and BE@RBRICK Collaboration Background
The Care Bears and BE@RBRICK collaboration began in 2009 with two releases. Subsequent entries in the collaboration wouldn't be announced until late 2016.
Collaboration Planning and Launch
Care Bears' first entries in the BE@RBRICK line consisted of a True Heart Bear keychain and 400% size Cheer Bear figure. The Cheer Bear figure received a relaunch in 2017 alongside the debut of the Grumpy Bear figure. In 2018, Funshine Bear debuted with both 400% and 100% size figures. The next Care Bears BE@RBRICKs were Bedtime Bear and Good Luck Bear, both launched in 2019. As of 2021, Love-a-Lot Bear is the most recent addition to the Care Bears and BE@RBRICK line. The Love-a-Lot Bear release coincided with Medicom Toy's production of a Cheer Bear plush in 2020.
BE@RBRICK Care Bears Love-a-Lot Bear 100%
This fun-size figure of Love-a-Lot Bear still captures her larger-than-life capacity for love. Her main body is covered in a sweet, strawberry pink that matches her 2010s design. The two hearts on her tummy include a light yellow outline to make them stand out against her white belly fur. She has three eyelashes on each eye, the distinguishing feature for girl Care Bears. Painting detail depicting a tuft of fur on the top of her snout gives the figure an extra artistic touch. Her Care Bear heart mark on her rump completes the whole, cute package.

About Care Bears
Care Bears is a multimedia franchise centered around a group of emotion-themed bears. Care Bears act as fuzzy guardian angel-type creatures and help human children in need. The Care Bears and their relatives, the Care Bear Cousins, live in the Kingdom of Care. The Kingdom of Care consists of Care-a-Lot, where the main Care Bears live, and the Forest of Feelings, home to the Cousins. In the tv shows and films, many villains try to interrupt the Care Bears mission to promote caring. About Love-a-Lot Bear
Love-a-Lot Bear is one of the original Care Bears with bright pink fur and a pair of red and pink hearts on her belly. Her personality is similar to eight of the other main Care Bears, but she tends to focus more on love. She has a special task amongst the Care Bears: to function as Cupid and help others find love. Love-a-Lot Bear also has the same Belly Badge power as the other Care Bears and can use the Care Bear Stare. She has a verbal tic and tends to use the word "love" often in her speech. Her best friend is Tenderheart Bear and she's often seen hanging out with him.

Friend Bear
Friend Bear is one of the original 10 Care Bears debuted in 1982. She has peach fur with a pair of daisies on her belly. She is the most social of the Care Bears and emphasizes the importance of friendship. Her main role in the franchise is to stand by her friends and offer herself as a confidant, pal, or sidekick. While she is friends with everyone she meets, she considers her own best friend to be Love-a-Lot Bear. Many future release Care Bears resemble Friend Bear in name and power, such as Best Friend Bear and Amigo Bear.
Good Luck Bear
Good Luck Bear premiered with Love-a-Lot Bear in 1982. He is a bright green bear with a matching four-leaf clover Belly Badge on his stomach. As his name implies, Good Luck Bear is a Care Bear never short on luck. While he can create infinite four-leaf clovers with his Belly Badge, his own luck stems from his positive outlook and not magic. He helps others by pointing out their self-worth and the power of positivity to prove there's no such thing as bad luck. In the original series and the 2012 movie, Good Luck Bear speaks with an Irish accent. His best friend is Funshine Bear due to their shared optimism.
Lotsa Heart Elephant
Lotsa Heart Elephant is one of the Care Bear Cousins that debuted in 1984. The Care Bear Cousins are a group of animals from the Forest of Feelings that sometimes show up to help the Care Bears. Lotsa Heart Elephant is a bright pink elephant with a heart-shaped nostril on the end of their trunk and a pink hand weight-shaped Belly Badge. When using their Belly Badge, Lotsa Heart Elephant physically "knocks some sense" into people. They help people realize they are full of love and that love is the greatest strength of all.
