Collaboration Planning and Launch Information
Medicom Toy introduced the Minions to the BE@RBRICK line in 2017 in celebration of Despicable Me 3. Dave and Mel each received 400% and 1000% size figures. Kevin and Stuart joined the BE@RBRICK line with two size versions for each. In 2020, five minions received VDF figures, including Dave and Mel. A VCD figure set depicting Pharell Williams and two minions came out in March 2021.

About Despicable Me 3
Despicable Me 3 is a 2017 animated comedy film produced by Illumination and distributed by Universal Pictures. It is the fourth installment in the Despicable Me film franchise. Despicable Me 3 follows former villain and current Anti-Villain League agent Felonious Gru. Gru teams up with his wife Lucy Wilde to defeat the villain Balthazar Bratt. Growing up, Bratt was obsessed with his acting career. However, his show was canceled during his adolescent years. Thus, his goal became to take revenge on Hollywood. After failing to capture Bratt, Gru and Lucy are dismissed from the AVL. Gru learns of his long-lost twin Dru and brings the family to meet him. Dru wants Gru to teach him villainy. Rather than tell his twin how he renounced villainy, Gru pretends to teach Dru in a plan to stop Bratt and rejoin the AVL.
Despicable Me 3 grossed over $1 billion worldwide with a profit of $366.2 million. It was the third most profitable film of 2017. The film received mixed reviews from critics who stated the movie should please younger fans of the franchise.
About Dave
Dave is one of the minions that work for the main character, Gru. He is an intelligent character, who is kind, funny, and caring. However, he is a bit ditsy and causes accidents. Nonetheless, he is also skilled at playing video games like his friend Stuart. His signature weapon is the Rocket Launcher, which he skillfully uses in combat. In Despicable Me 3, Dave appears in the honeymoon party for Gru and Lucy. Along with Jerry, Dave sings for the family. Along with Jerry, Dave is one of the two minions to stay with Gru after he loses his job.

Felonious Gru
Felonius Gru is the protagonist of the Despicable Me franchise. Initially a villain, he ironically becomes a hero throughout the series. Gru comes from a family of villains which can be inferred from statues of his ancestors in his brother, Dru’s, hideout. As a child, Gru’s dream was to fly to the moon. His initial rocket was one made with macaroni. As he grew older, he ended up building a functional rocket with help from scientist Dr. Joseph Albert Nefario. In the first film, Gru changes in response to adopting three young girls. His anti-villain development progresses in the second film when he falls in love with Anti-Villain League agent, Lucy Wilde.
Balthazar Bratt
Balthazar Bratt is the antagonist of the film Despicable Me 3 movie. Initially a child actor, he becomes a super-villain after his show got canceled when he started puberty. Angry that he could not act anymore, he seeks to destroy Hollywood by floating it up to outer space. He is a ruthless character, only caring about himself. He is destructive and vindictive, showing no mercy to his enemies nor civilians who did no harm. However, he is a cunning and intelligent individual, capable of stealing diamonds and kidnapping Gru's adopted daughters.
