Synopsis

See a different side of your favorite The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls idols in The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls Theater! This hysterical spin-off shows the girls training to become top idols while enjoying their everyday lives off the stage and even gives viewers a chance to see how they spend their days off ♪

Background

The fun Cinderella Girls spin-off by Kuma-Jet began its manga serialization in March 2012, and it was at last adapted into an anime in April 2017 directed by Mankyuu. Each episode is short (only a few minutes in length), and both the first and second seasons had 13 episodes.

The fourth season of the anime, Climax Season, was announced on Dec. 2, 2018 and will premiere in Japan in April 2019. The main staff from previous seasons, including director Mankyu, will be reprising their roles, and the anime is once again being produced by Gathering.

Characters

Uzuki Shimamura (Voiced by: Ayaka Ohashi)

A kind and cute idol with a great smile. She’s extraordinarily ordinary which has made her extremely popular among fans. Alongside Rin and Mio, she is a part of the “New Generation” trio.

Rin Shibuya (Voiced by: Ayaka Fukuhara)

A supremely cool and hard-working idol. Despite often coming across as serious, she does have a gentle and sweet side. She’s close with Uzuki and Mio as the “New Generation” trio.

Mio Honda (Voiced by: Sayuri Hara)

With a seemingly endless amount of energy, Mio is a passionate idol and member of the “New Generation” trio alongside Uzuki and Rin. She’s best-known for her sense of humor.

Chieri Ogata (Voiced by: Naomi Ohzora)

With a shy disposition, gentle heart, and love for clovers, Chieri is an especially soft and sweet idol who wants nothing more than to bring happiness to others.

Anastasia (Voiced by: Sumire Uesaka)

Anastasia is a cool half-Russian idol. As a result of growing up in Russia, she frequently uses Russian words while speaking.

Ranko Kanzaki (Voiced by: Maaya Uchida)

Ranko is instantly recognizable with her stylish gothic lolita look, and it pairs perfectly with her unlimited imagination. She claims to have magical powers and often speaks like she’s in a fantasy novel.

Mika Jougasaki (Voiced by: Haruka Yoshimura)

The older sister of fellow idol Rika Jougasaki, Mika has a showy confidence that translates well as an idol. She’s also passionate and a sucker for the gyaru (gal) subculture.

Kaede Takagaki (Voiced by: Saori Hayami)

Mature and mysterious, Kaede is an older idol who enjoys drinking and visiting hot springs. She also greatly enjoys making puns.

Anzu Futaba (Voiced by: Hiromi Igarashi)

A bit older than you might expect, Anzu is a hilarious and adorable NEET. All she wants to do is play video games, watch anime, read manga, and sleep, and she even wears a shirt saying “You lose if you work.”

Yumi Aiba (Voiced by: Juri Kimura)

Yumi is an especially friendly and gentle idol, and her deeply rooted love for flowers has resulted in them being incorporated into many of her costumes.

Miria Akagi (Voiced by: Tomoyo Kurosawa)

An ultra-cute and ultra-talkative idol with an equally abundant amount of curiosity! She’s still very young but works hard towards being an idol.

Nana Abe (Voiced by: Marie Miyake)

More than a little eccentric, Nana Abe is an anime lover who dresses as a maid and claims to be an alien from Planet Usamin and permanently 17 years old.

Hina Araki (Voiced by: Rui Tanabe)

Hina Araki is an otaku and a bit of a mess. She likes to draw manga and doesn’t see herself as an idol but is very kind.

Kyoko Igarashi (Voiced by: Atsumi Tanezaki)

Gentle and sweet, Kyoko is a determined young girl with a great personality who’s good at household chores like cleaning, laundry, and cooking.

Shiki Ichinose (Voiced by: Kotomi Aihara)

Shiki is super intelligent and curious with a lot of knowledge in chemistry. She likes science in general and claims to use pheromones to attract fans.

Nina Ichihara (Voiced by: Misaki Kuno)

Absolutely tiny with an utterly adorable face, Nina is one of the youngest of the idols, and she’s almost always dressed in an animal costume. Despite her age, she’s hardworking and wants desperately to succeed as an idol.

Suzuho Ueda (Voiced by: Nanami Haruno)

With a love of costumes and all things fun, Suzuho is among the funniest idols. She’s well-known for her ever-growing costume collection.

Shizuku Oikawa (Voiced by: Yuri Noguchi)

Born and raised on a dairy farm, Shizuku is a happy and positive girl with a rural background who’s still adjusting to the city.

Chihiro Senkawa (Voiced by: Rina Satou)

The Producer’s cute and sweet secretary.

Kako Takafuji (Voiced by: Rana Morishita)
