Synopsis

Nakano’s life consists of working a grueling grind as an employee at a “black” company, until one day he gets an uninvited house guest: a divine fox girl named Senko. Senko suddenly starts living with the exhausted Nakano and tries her best to take care of him by doing household chores like cooking and cleaning as well as other special services (?). And so, a healing comedy for all those who are worn out with modern life begins!

Background

Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san began as a manga by Rimukoro that was launched on Kadokawa’s Comic Newtype manga website in October 2017. An anime adaptation is in the works and is being directed by Tomoaki Koshida with composition by Yoshiko Nakamura, character designs by Miwa Oshima, and music by Yoshiaki Fujisawa. The anime is being produced by Doga Kobo and will premiere in Japan in April 2019.

Characters

Senko (Voiced by: Azumi Waki)

An 800-year-old divine fox who looks like a young girl, Senko begins living with Nakano in order to take care of him.

Nakano (Voiced by: Junichi Suwabe)

Employed at a “black” company, Nakano spends his days in exhaustion. He is secretly crazy about things that are fluffy and soft, like a cat’s tail and ears

Shiro (Voiced by: Maaya Uchida)

Shiro is another divine fox who appears to Nakano. She is a pure-blood as evidenced by her pure white tail and uses supernatural powers including reading other people’s thoughts.

Koenji (Voiced by: Ayane Sakura)

Nakano’s neighbor who writes manga while attending college, Koenji can always be seen wearing her trademark glasses, ponytail, and jersey.

?? (Voiced by: Eri Kitamura)

A mysterious fox who has four black tails. She seems to be of divine nature like Senko and Shiro, but...
