Synopsis
Hiroto, a skilled Diver who plays like a mercenary. Kazami, a famous Diver who wanders between parties. May, a solo Diver feared by other Divers for her skill and tactics. Parviz, an inexperienced newbie who is shy but wants to play in a party. Each live a solitary life until they are brought together by fate to form a new team. What awaits them is a boundless experience that goes beyond GBN.
Background
Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE is the newest anime in the Gundam Build Divers series. Returning from Gundam Build Divers to direct the series is Shinya Watada at Sunrise Beyond, while Yasuyuki Muto is writing the script, Juri Toida is adapting Hiro Harakazu’s original character designs for animation, and Hideakira Kimura is creating the music. Spira Spica will perform the show's opening theme song "Re:RISE," and Sudanna Yuzu Yully will perform the ending theme song "Magic Time." The anime will premiere on Oct. 10, 2019 on Sunrise’s new YouTube channel, "Gundam Channel."
Characters
Hiroto Kuga (Voiced by: Chiaki Kobayashi)
A 17-year-old high school student who lives in a seaside town. He has a long history as a GBN Diver while also having top skill as a Builder and Fighter as well. Recently, he continues to search for someone lost in the GBN dimension while playing mercenary.
Kazami (Voiced by: Masaaki Mizunaka)
A famous Diver on the video hosting service G-Tube, Kazami is a vivacious Diver who aims to become a hero while wandering between parties. Though famous, he is bad at teamwork and his fighting skills are unpraiseworthy. Still, he enjoys himself in GBN.
May (Voiced by: Mai Fuchigami)
A female solo Diver, May has no interest other than Gunpla battles and battles in GBN every day. She is able to calculate the best tactic for battle in an instant and she has a relentless battle style of cornering her opponents. Because of her skill she is feared by the other Divers.
Parviz (Voiced by: Mayu Minami)
A newbie to GBN who began playing at his older brother’s recommendation, Parviz is still inexperienced due to being shy and timid but yearns to play in a party.
Freddie (Voiced by: Ai Kakuma)
The Pilot who leads Hiroto and the others to new stages, Freddie is deeply curious and a bit overzealous, often jumping to the wrong conclusions.
Eve (Voiced by: Inori Minase)
A female Diver who previously met Hiroto in GBN. The time Hiroto spent with her is a memory he cherishes above all else.
Hinata Mukai (Voiced by: Shion Wakayama)
Hiroto’s childhood friend and the only daughter of the Mukai family, Hinata is a cheerful and literary girl who is part of the archery club at her school. She works part-time at G-Cafe.
Captain Zeon
A Diver who is passionate about and loves GBN more than anyone else. He wears a hero outfit and is an active G-Tuber who strives to improve etiquette in GBN. He has many followers, including Kazami.
