Natsuki Hanae - Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer)
Natsuki Hanae (花江 夏樹) is a Japanese voice actor born on June 26, 1991 in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan affiliated with Across Entertainment. He is known for his roles in anime, such as Kosei Arima in the anime drama Your Lie in April. He assumes the role as Tanjiro Kamado in the popular anime Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer). He decided to become a voice actor after seeing a rebroadcast of Ouran High School Host Club.
Biography
Hanae is a name for the stage and not his real name, selected by the office that decided to use the Japanese character of the flower in his name. He was a member of the junior high school soft tennis club. He uploaded "Singing Highlights" until June 2012 using a video distribution platform called* Nico Nico Douga* under the name* Hanagoe* which was published in magazines.
Hanae joined the workforce after high school and did not plan to go to college until graduation. Aspiring to become a voice actor, he sent voice samples to Across Entertainment's official website and joined them in November 2009. In 2012 he advanced into a regular member after two years. Making his first appearance as leading role in the anime Tari Tari, and composing music for Episodes 5 and 12 of the anime. He played Atsuhiro Maeda in the Tari Tari Tari music and slice-of-life series. Maeda is an unique and memorable character in the show that was easily taken to by most audiences over the course of the series. His misunderstanding and exaggeration of Japanese expressions also contributed to comic outcomes within the series making this one of the most fleshed out roles in the show with Hanae's solid performance that rendered Maeda a still more entertaining character.
In 2013 he played the main role of Kiri Haimura in the anime adaption of The Severing Crime Edge. Other main roles Include Aldnoah Zero where he played as Inaho Kaizuka in 2014, Ken Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul 2014, and Kōsei Arima in Your Lie in April 2015. Winning the Best Rookie award at the 9th Seiyuu Awards. Hanae announced his marriage on August 27, 2016 on the television program A&G Tribal Radio Edison. Coming off several famous anime and famous parts, Hanae began off in a fairly quiet manner in 2017. He had several big anime roles which covered all seasons. He sought to broaden out from drama to rock, sitcoms, thus maintaining the same continuity he'd displayed since 2014. He received an Award at the 11th Voice Actor Award, and started a Lets Play on youtube and amassed over 500,000 subscribers by October of the same year. On 2019, Hanae is playing as a lead role for the anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba as Tanjiro Kamado.
Information
Hanae’s hobbies include karaoke and games. Close with Soma Saito, Kazuto Ishikawa, Shota Aoi, and the singer Tomohisa Sako. At the beginning of his debut, he used contact lenses but due to myopia did not fit, thus switching to glasses around October 2012. Undergoing ICL surgery on September 30, 2016 he has since then been wearing fashion glasses. In 2018 December, he made a youtube account featuring Lets Plays.
