A Look at Jeanne (Fate) Figures

Between Ruler/Jeanne d’Arc and Avenger/Jeanne d’Arc (Alter), the number of extraordinary Jeanne scale figures that have been produced is dizzying. Over the years, a good portion of them have come and gone on the TOM Shop. As we’ve done in the past, we’d like to spend a little time spotlighting a select few of those figures. The problem is that there’s so many jaw dropping items to choose from, it was hard to decide just which ones would make the cut. What we did know for sure is that we wanted to pick Jeanne as depicted in both of those Servant Classes. She actually has more roles than these two, but we’ll see if we have time to get to them.

When you search “Jeanne figures” on the TOM Shop, you’ll find that many are no longer available. But they’ll always be in our hearts. Besides, there are several products that still are available, in stock now or up for pre-order. Maybe our list will introduce you to a few of those beauties.

Fate/Grand Order Ruler/Jeanne d'Arc Non-Scale Figure
We had to start our article with this figure of Ruler/Jeanne d’Arc from Fate/Grand Order. Manufactured by Flare and sculpted by French Doll, it’s the definition of the “Holy Maiden Savior” title. Jeanne is standing tall, majestic and proud. The parts of her armor and both intricately crafted and realistically painted. French Doll spared no expense to illustrate that she is a beautiful warrior. The figure is actually based off of Jeanne’s 2nd Ascension (Stage 3) in Fate/Grand Order, when she’s at the pinnacle of her fighting power. Ruler boasts a couple weapons in this figure. First, there’s the rapier, La Pucelle, at her side. Then there’s her other Noble Phantasm, the Luminosité Eternelle flag. The staff of the flags makes this figure a whopping 15.4 inches in height! Figure connoisseurs will undoubtedly recognize the painstaking detail that went into sculpting the golden lining of the flag. The billowing of the flag and her long locks of hair leave us awestruck. We adore this take on Jeanne. She’s a true angel.

Fate/Grand Order Avenger/Jeanne d'Arc [Alter] 1/7 Scale Figure
Where there are angels, there are undoubtedly demons. After all, good and evil are two sides of the same coin. Jeanne d’Arc proves the perfect example of this old axiom, shifting from the noble maiden warrior in the Ruler Class to the chaotic evil in the Avenger Class. Jeanne d’Arc Alter is the bad girl you just can’t stay away from, and sculptor Sakurako Iwanaga made this figure to prove it. Again, we’ve been treated to a completely armored image of Jeanne made to look realistic through the painting application, but this time her armor is darkly shaded. Her flowing skirt reveals a blood red lining on the inside. The great symbol of hope that was Luminosité Eternelle has been replaced with an ominous flag of despair, La Grondement Du Haine. Avenger has a sinister look on her face as she props her foot up on the skull of a dragon, reminding us that she’s the Dragon Witch. All together, this is a mighty interpretation of Jeanne d’Arc, and we love it just as much as the Ruler figure we looked at.

Nendoroid Goodsmile Racing & Type-Moon Racing Jeanne d'Arc: Racing Ver.
Now to switch gears real quick. We looked at two very no-nonsense, serious interpretations of Jeanne. Let’s chill things out with this cutesy, baby-faced Nendoroid version of her! This articulated Nendoroid figure of Jeanne d’Arc reveals what she looks like in the Racer Class. Just kidding, there’s no such thing (yet). Still, it really caught our eye to see Jeanne’s outfit designed in a fresh new way. It mixes the elegant and noble look of her historic armor with a modern racer idol uniform. The uniform is even complete with GoodSmile and TYPE-MOON logos on it! Jeanne looks super cute holding her wheel gun. She looks super cute winking at us. She even looks super cute praying (probably praying to win the race and that all racers drive safely so that no one is harmed). And if you like this racing take on Jeanne, don’t forget to look up the pre-order Nendoroid figures of Altria Pendragon and Nero Claudius in racing outfits as well.

Fate/Apocrypha Jeanne d'Arc & Astolfo: TYPE-MOON Racing Ver. 1/7 Scale Figure
Last up and keeping the racing love going, we have a two-for-one figure of Jeanne palling around with her good friend and another fan favorite character, Astolfo! Their outfits here make us think pop idol more than racing cars, but those tires they’re sitting on are unmistakable signs that we’re in the TYPE-MOON Racing world. As you would expect, Astolfo looks the more carefree of the two while Jeanne looks like she might be thinking to herself, “How did I get talked into doing this?” True to her character, Jeanne is once again holding a skinny long thing, but this time it’s an umbrella, not a flag. We love how Astolfo and Jeanne have similar ponytails tied up in braids like twinsies. The whole piece is fun and lighthearted, with a bit of sexiness thrown in!
